I'm pretty sure that is not exactly legal. If you are moving out in 14 days, he can't really basically throw you out 2 weeks early by destroying your bath and turning off the water. I am no lawyer or anything, but depending on if you are willing to, there should be some legal way to fight that sort of shit, and probably not pay last months rent or something like that. You might wanna take a look into that, because that is seriously pretty bullshit.

It depends on how much we can negotiate I guess, but I think free month's rent is reasonable in this case lol.

Its on the low end of anywhere nearby where i work, and i don't own a car, moving further out requires i quit my job, that took me four months to get, or buying a car which just brings my expenses past where they are now. I don't have the money to get a more favorable lease, nor the job experience or skills to get a higher paying job. I'm still in school so i don't have my BA yet to help out either. Its a very unfortunate situation, but at least i have a job. the stress i'm under already sucks, i'd hate to be jobless too. a lot of students have it worse than me, with a lot of debt in addition to all these problems. at least i'm debt free. Its not like i can move across the country in with my parents, i don't have the money to do so, and if i move there, i'm likely never going to finish school. What choices do i really have? I guess i can keep things as they are, or take a temporary paycut and work as a busboy/server and use my bartending license for something after 6 months. but i would be rationing food and cutting into what little savings i have if i take that pay cut in the meantime, and any extra expenses could put me in a bad spot.
