Okay, Suicune is kinda cool but he's a legendary so he only half-counts. Frog Ninja, please. Pirates have been proven to be 176% better ever since Piratebay has been created. All starters except Samurott. Lapras, Kyogre, Kingdra, Golduck but he needs another Evo or something, Slowking, Relicanth, Palkia (tho Dialga's cooler), Sharpedo. Tentacruel is actually pretty badass but too overexposed to be on the list imo, though you see less Tentacools since like 3rd gen. Edit: Poliwrath is pretty cool, not my top Water type but he's badass in the manga. Da fuck? Samurott is dope as shit. Decent enough, but way too much of a letdown after how badass Dewott was. Would have been 4x as cool if he stood on his hind legs, I'm not a fan of bipeds -> quadrupeds. Samurott is a true warrior of the sea and Dewott is but his overeager apprentice. Samurott is Kenshin and Dewott is merely Yahiko. Samurott devolved from a walker to a crawler. You, sir, would not know majesty if it came up and bit you in the face. Y'know if something came and bit my face off I don't think I'd call it majestic.

This set is a lot of fun though. I'm really psyched to see what kind of Standard deck I can throw together. I really don't like Theros limited format. It just feels like there's not much interaction, and each player just takes turns clubbing each other with their respective bombs.

Last night was a hell of a lot of fun with some pretty good variety in decks. But I pulled the only god and only weapon, so it wasn't too hard for me. Unfortunately we redraft rares, so I only came home with Heliod and a Temple of Silence haha. So I recently played a large scale 40k game with a lot of other people. It partially made me want to get Nids because they were completely unrepresented and there were more Necron players than I thought there would be. I like being a unique butterfly lol. So many Space Marine variants, and Eldar and Orc had a decent showing too. No Tau, IG, Daemons, DE, or Sisters either, but there was one CSM player that did ok. Wraithlords are scary as fuck. 2 heavy weapons and a powersword with like a T8 and a power sword. Though the player was some 12 year old kid so I think he may not have been playing all the rules straight, the youngns around the store are known to be like that. Immortals proved to be waaaay better than I thought they would. A squad of 10 with Tesla Carbines tore up squads of Guardians, some Salamanders, and even a Chaos Dreadnaught, though the Stormtek had a lot to do with that last one (Assault 4 Haywire staff wut). Destroyers are pretty damn good. Jump troops with gaus cannons and lascannons were destroying things until they got into melee range, at which point the Wraithlord tore them a new asshole. Even the Destroyer Lord got instant-deathed, though he rezzed like 3 times in a row lol. The Stalker once again died in the first round of combat to a penetrating shot -> explosion. In theory it has so much viability with a great weapon, tough armor, and granting Twin Linking, but I actually haven't gotten to even shoot with it. Maybe I should hold it to reserve until I can clear out Heavy Weapon emplacements. I really wish I woulda brought Deathmarks. I didn't realize how sick Hunters from Hyperspace is against MCs, auto-wounds on a 2+ with 24" Rapid Fire Snipers is pretty beast against anything but vehicles. Really want to test out the Scythe and C'tan Shard, but won't have a chance to play until next week. Sigh.
