IMO I'm actually unhyped for X/Y from those videos. Black 2 was interesting for awhile but I got bored of leveling and X/Y seem identical aside from being pretty 3d, having "mega evolutions", and three new starters, all of which have zero effect on how fun or how fresh the game would be for me. I will say though that Breloom was a favorite of mine back in the day. | ||

The only thing I don't like about Grass/Fighting is that I'm going to get the event Torchic, so if I go my previous starter combo of Torchic/Squirtle/Chespin, I'll have 2 Fighting starters and that'll feel strange. Torchic/Bulbasaur/Froakie gives Fire/Fighting, Grass/Poison, and Water/Dark, which is a more even spread but I'm unsure of how strong each is. Now I'm just going to want to get both X and Y ;;_;; | ||

I briefly stole my little brother's White 2 and enjoyed it a lot. It was the first Pokemon game I'd played in a while. The formula hasn't changed at all, and I think that's why I like it - nostalgic enough while still looking pretty and being a fun game. That's probably why I'm most psyched for X. | ||

I'd love to have a Bug type starter. Bug is the coolest type, way more cool than Dark or Dragon or whatever. Actually Fairy is the coolest type. But bug is the 2nd coolest. Bug/Fairy pokemon anyone? :3 | ||

Water is a good type, especially with the addition of Boiling Water (eng. name?), they don't have any good physical moves though (Waterfall lol) and they are very much so not cool. Good, but not cool. | ||
