He's most certainly someone you can listen to enjoy, but he's more of a rap fan's rapper. I'd say his music is largely appealing to those whom already enjoy hip hop and can appreciate his mastery of the craft. I'd say Atmosphere is much more widely appealing in a musical sense to a wider variety, because he's not afraid to produce music that's a little less rap sounding. MF Doom makes very strange music from a listener's point of view, though not unpleasant, is most certainly an acquired taste. He's not as listenable to many more people, and those who like him really enjoy him for his off-the-wall elements including even his persona. He's more of a theatrical rapper, if such a thing exists. Atmosphere isn't necessarily much better than all other underground rappers right now, I just think that his music could appeal to a wider collection of people, and his storytelling abilities also help his song's content by appealing to those people who do like lyrics to their music and aren't just looking for a satisfying thump or catchy hook, which in my opinion is what divided hip-hop from commercial to underground an why they sound so different today.

I tried to get into MF Doom after seeing him mentioned on r/hhh all the time, but he's really just not my cup of tea. That said, r/hhh turned me onto The Bake Sale by The Cool Kids and it's pretty pretty pretty great.

You know how you take your picture with your camera, but you have to have a pre-determined focus point? Usually for a camera phone, it's as simple as hitting the part of the picture you want to have as your focal distance, and your camera software/hardware stuff adjusts for you so that's the focal point. this camera allows you to take a picture, and adjust the focal points AFTER you take the picture, something no other camera can do.

It allows you to take one picture and then adjust the focus afterwards, so you can change the focus of depth afterwards. In essence, it should let you take more life-like pictures by giving a more realistic depth to the picture, rather than a flat, 2D image.

The Lytro thing has been around for a while and no one used it because it was pretty garbage. I wonder if this one will be better. The concept seems to be hitting a section that's totally niche as well. Standard 2D photography allows the photographer to direct the composition. If I wanted to direct my own composition, then there are those 3D panoranic Go-Pro video thingys being put out now that is way more immersive. Its just a shortcut that no one needs because the better solution is already coming and the old solution has its on aesthetic value. Plus having to adjust focus point after taking the photo is just a crutch for people with terrible composition.
