I loved book 4. I'm getting close to halfway through book 5 and also loving it.
They're not as gruesome and explosive as book 3, but the story development in them I feel is still very good, and shit's gon' happen in 6 and 7 (if GRRM doesn't die first)

Like actually hate them. The whole idea of them and raver culture as a whole makes me want to slice open a new born and praise Cthulhu. Like how are those people who go around to cons in those fur suits not for 1. Fucking hot inside that thing, and 2. NOT EMBARRASSED AS FUCK. Seeing them in public doing that shit is like one of my biggest pet peeves. Just their existence makes me so angry that I lose control. Bigot detected. jkjk. but if you said the same thing about gay people, you'd be butt blasted (no pun intended) for being a intolerant bigot.

Shit is going to happen in book 6 and 7, judging from the chapters already released. Hype is there.

2. I grew up being made fun of for enjoy nerd culture and reading in my spare time, I was given odd looks for enjoying anime and I felt awkward buying games, anime, fantasy books. How the devil could I call myself a good person if I did the same thing to another group that I don't care for? It's why I'll never make any serious joke or insult to a fandom like pony fans or furries. So long as they are not hurting anyone and are happy it's not my place to ruin things for um.

Tbh Furrycons look about as bad as the annual gay parade so I don't see much of the problem. People like to combine dressup and sexytimes, if that's their thing that's cool.

I think overall book 5 is my favourite, book 3 being second, book 4 being third, book 1 at fourth place and the second book being my least favourite.

book 4 is the most boring and is about characters nobody really cares about it is known

#jumpingonthebandwagon #becausewhynot #Reqwhenareyougoingtopostmorewarhammer40kpictures? #Ishouldn'tusehashtagsever Hopefully soon. Immortals are basecoated and Leadbelcher'd, gonna start painting and detailing tonight. Not sure what next. I think I might do my HQs, but I also have like 10 Destroyers to finish, 5 more vehicles, my C'tan, and then more Warriors and my Lychguard. The struggle is real.

Book 3 is my favorite so far, mostly because things got shook up so much.
I haven't read 1-4 in a while, I took a break for a while before jumping back into 5. I think I'll probably reread 4 once I finish 5.
Re furries: I don't understand them, but I have no animosity towards them.
edit: also @frudgey: My orks are en route, so I'll start to have some stuff for you too =P

+ Show Spoiler +Cersei's descent into madness is wonderful. Brienne is kinda boring and so are the ironborn, but Jaime+Cersei make up for that. Oh and Arianne Martell.

I couldn't tell you. It's the way they act that makes me actually angry. It's just one of those things that has me seeing red when I see them "In the Wild."

Aside from Joff she's like one of the only characters that's pure evil and gets what she deserves. As much as the good guys get their shit pushed in, it still feels amazing when the bad guys get theirs.
Also give so much respect to the new High Septon. Such a bro.

Why a pet? If I want an animal at home I've got all I need with the one inside of me.

He's no Clive Owen tho. To be fair, his character development is awesome. Less "character development" and more "yo he was always like that but we only showed him when he was drunk [with battle] and bragged, here's the rest."

Jon had to kill his mentor in cold as fuck below zero degree weather and then + Show Spoiler +Bran is shoved out of a window and has his dreams shattered, also everyone around him gets slaughtered Arya just does NOT catch a break (or hasn't yet in the show). At least Sansa INTENTIONALLY got herself into that position. Eh, not exactly. I mean, she did the original thing intentionally, but she had no grasp of what it'd bring about nor what was going on behind the scenes.
Only read the first 3 so not much happened to Theon thus far. He's kind of a prick and asking to get hit with a reality bat way harder than Sansa though. And I've read ~130 of the ~1200 pages of Honor Harrington before I bring my friend his books back and he lends me ASoIaF's 4th book. Problem is, Honor is a fucking Mary Sue and her entourage isn't much better so she makes these parts of the books painfully annoying to read. At least once it'll be launched it should go faster.
