I'll admit their interface isn't that good, but my friend and I have been able to do the campaign of Chaos Rising together without any difficulties. And it still hasn't stopped those guys from doing the elite mod, which is still pretty active if I recall correctly. I think DoW2's lack of success was due to the type of game it was.
