Kill la Kill is boring. It's not even near as good as Gurren Lagann and, Heres where all of you really hate me, Gurren Lagann wasn't even that good. It just had rediculousness going for it. And a rediculously sweet soundtrack.

KLK is just dumb. Only stupidity is found there and I will not venture forth. The first episode completely ruins the series for me.

Plus I'm to busy watching all my sports anime to care.

Why would you ever watch Gainax willingly to complete their offering? They are a hit or miss studio, the perfect kind for cherry picking offerings.

This is true, but Kill la Kill's first episode is amazing and really good at setting up the whole series anyway. If you don't like it, it's probably because you don't like the sort of all emotion, no thought style that Trigger has. Which I will maintain is a style designed to appeal to 6 year olds, and if you don't like it you're out of touch with your inner 6 year old.

It's not quite as over the top as Gurren Lagann, but it's a similar show. It's better than Gurren Lagann was, IMO.

does kill la kill change much from the first few episodes? i watched through at least episode three, and while i thought there were some great moments it didn't keep my interest. 'satire' aside, the fanservice was also extreme to the point of being uncomfortable to watch at times

this is coming from someone for whom psg is anime of the year every year so i'm not sure why klk failed to slay me

It's got more of a plot than it lets on in the first few episodes, but it stays fairly true to form throughout.

The fanservice is extremely satirical. It never bothered me really, and fanservice usually bothers me.

Finished the first episode. It's a lot more chaotic and randum than TTGL. Not bad, Imma watch a couple more tonight, but it didn't grip me like some other first episodes.

KlK didn't actually grab me until about midway through and then I was hooked. Took forever for my friends to force me through til about episode ten or so, then I marathoned the rest in two days. It grows on you.

It's more chaotic just because it has more characters. It'll take some time to introduce them all.

It's got a reeeeeally good supporting cast, that's one of the best parts of the show.
