Education is getting weird.
One of the major reasons I hated "no calculator" sections of some math tests. For real? I'm always gonna have a calculator when I'm gonna need to do math lol.
Traditional math in American schools conflates arithmetic with rational thinking, trying to teach the first to people who don't care, and making the latter thus boring for everyone who should use it.
The idea is that you're learning logic by doing math without a calculator (i.e. solving equations is the same critical process that you use when putting together IKEA furniture). However, you can teach logic and rational thinking without making it boring with arithmetic, and the arithmetic you should be learning has nothing to do with the garbage you learn in "precalculus" or "advanced algebra."
Much disdain for the US education system lol.
Being a tutor for high school students after being a TA for college students taking remedial math classes that they should've had learned in high school already according to the entrance requirements of the school has filled me with much NeodisIllusions
That is an ABSURD Thunderfury. Nearly 2600 dps 1 hander, with a socket and strength? I've seen 2 handers roll lower than that with %damage(ok let's be honest everyone in TL clan knows I've found like 20 of them, but I digress). That meansa 1hander could top 2800, which is actually super important for WD's that pet build because pet's don't make use of crit damage.

My dog hates toys. Seriously I gave up giving her any six years ago, because every time you do, she just sits in front of it and looks at you like "wtf do you think you're doing?"

My post count is going to get inflated so hard by all the SSB questions these coming weeks. x_x
That Link vs Mr. L match was pretty cool to see, the match-up according to the caster sounded good for spectating. OLIMAR LOOKS SO WEIRD WTF SONIV YOU GOTTA EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS CHARACTER WORK
Lol I can explain Olimar when I get home later today.
The event was fucking awesome, there was so much hype. There are some VoDs I'll have to find for you guys, the fighting game community is a blast. Please accept this in the meantime. + Show Spoiler [The Hype is Real] +
The event didn't actually end until like 3:30am, lol
@yango/navitar/milo: During the bracket semis, someone right behind me was talking about league to his friend, and mentioned playing against TSM at some point, so I asked who he played with.
Him: "Ever hear of Navi?" Me: "Wait...who the hell are you?" Him: "Blahyay"
LOL - when I told him who I was he was like "oh shit man". Apparently he lives in Cental MA

Too unnecessarily hard just play Kirby npnp
Why bother learning different mechanics and matchups when you can play a character that insta-wins vs everyone with neutral b?

Yeah, he's an IRL friend of Navi's who also knows a mutual friend of mine from college. He played top lane for us in ranked 5s/Go4LoLs with us for quite a while. You might remember him from when you were still playing with TL B.
Without spoiling anything, Divergent was literally the worst movie I have ever seen in theatre. Really, really, really, really bad movie. The only aspect even remotely worth anyone's time was the music, and even that seemed lackluster. A friend from work warned me not to go watch it, but my gf insisted and I (of course) acquiesced.
Hi guys, if any of you remember that video of former BW pro GARIMTO getting histerical over playing with Doublelift do any of you know his Afreeca streamer ID so that I could look it up and try to watch some, given that it doesnt lag like it usually does?

I mean, public education is shit in America on a lot of levels, and we have this insane money complex where we thinking pouring more money into an area is going to somehow make it better. It's insane, but the private education has nothing good to say about it either.
American colleges and universities are literally cancer. "We require you to retake courses you took in high school to meet our absurd general education requirements......you know, those requirements you met after completing TWELVE FUCKING YEARS of schooling already? Yeah. Those. And you get to pay absurd amounts of money for it too! And we're not going to tell you if these credits transfer or not, as we're not entirely sure as it's just a hit or miss, so you basically need to stay on top of it constantly or screw yourself over."
And then you get teachers who don't actually teach. One example: "Look it up online." If I wanted to look the answer up online I wouldn't be paying thousands of dollars to learn from you. Teach me the answer and reasoning behind it, don't tell me bullshit and waste my time and money.
Hey guys, you helped me out a while back with my Rogue deck, and it was awesome. I stopped playing for a month or two and now I'm getting back into it.
I started doing ranked and didn't drop a game until rank 15, where I've hit a wall and am winning 50% of my games.
I've read some things about Preparation and Shadowstep being useful, but I don't have much experience with those cards.
Any advice on cards I should add/drop/craft/save for?
(I only have 1x Dark Iron Dwarf and DoA)
Things that strike me as expendable are the Cleric, Tink, Perdition's Blade, and Assassinate.

Oh, no I have not and now I feel stupid, it was in a LoL subforum so it didn't occur to me how much off topic it is. Sorry :/
