Parts of it were naive and simplistic, but I like that the main chracter was basically emo the whole time :3 It's not so much what happened, but as caelym said it felt all over the place. Felt like it was really rushed, which isn't that uncommon for the third book of a trilogy in my experience. Everything is bigger and crazier than previous which is a natural progression but I felt like it wasn't executed in a pleasing way. Maybe you can lend more insight on how this happens? It's been a long time since I've read so I have no specifics, just feelings I remember.

+ Show Spoiler + I just thought it was nice that for once the main character of a YA series wasn't really portrayed as the focal point of everything, and Katniss herself was super emo and PTSD cause, you know, you'd think that's what happens watching all your friends get killed off for two years in a row lol. The thing is, everything felt disoriented because it was from Katniss's POV, and she is just some random girl who isn't exactly some savant political organizer or rebel extraordinaire, she was simply a marketing/propaganda tool and no one thought it was important to keep her aware of everything that's happening (or rather, maybe it was intentionally concealed from her). She herself was exposed to only a very small part of the larger events, and I thought it was fine. there were certainly weaknesses and I don't think everything was necessarily intentional, but it read slightly different from other YA novels in the same vein, and went in a somewhat novel direction after the first couple of books, so I was reasonably satisfied with it. I also had low expectations to start with and that probably helped.

No idea how they're going to make a movie out of it though. So much of it is just Katniss thinking.

Good morning everyone, and Happy St Paddy's Day! I'm not actually Irish but I live in Chicago so I'm more or less legally obligated to be excited for this holiday. Hope you all didn't drink too heavily last night, or if you did, that your bosses/teachers don't notice.

All you need to do is convince the CEO that you're the best around and you could get a promotion right then and there! Or if you're up to it, you could kill the CEO tomorrow and take his position. That'd probably be the fastest way to the top. Trust me Soniv, this is a golden opportunity. With TLLoLOTGD as your consultant, you'll get very far in life.
