It's from a campaign they started where if you confirmed your email you get a 4 win ip boost. In the beta version of it, you had to initiate it. I guess it's just a mailed thing now. I clicked the link and it sent me to the page that I was linked to when I did it in the beta.
Obviously, you can just go to the homepage and do it from there... but you'll end up in the same place.

The link is legit because the SSL certificate match the main league of legends site.
But if you want the IP boost and are paranoid as fuck go to na.leagueoflegends.com or euw or w/e and then log in and navigate to your account and then verify the email. More work but less hacks.

Latest episode of Telltale's TWD was really good, much better than the first episode. The opposite is true concerning TellTale's Wolf Among Us. The second episode was a huge drop in quality compared to the first.

It more surprised me that they're awarding IP boots for that. It's legit though, I went to their official website to be sure and got sent an e-mail from the same address.

My favorite thing when I played D3 on release: Finding the best +XP I could get and blasting through everything because I was so overleveled.

It's even faster now. Aura leveled me from 12 to 60 on my WD in MAYBE an hour. It's really easy if you have the low level person make the game on Torment 6, have the geared person join the game and come one shot everything. The level 60 gets almost no paragon (Major downside), but the level 1-50 gets the full 2400% Exp (1600%+ 50% + any +exp gear you have).

Well having somebody leveling you through harder difficulty is cheating.

It's not cheating when you've already done it. Hence why I now have one 60 of each class.

After part of Riot's passwords database was stolen (may have fucked up the wording, I don't recall precisely what happened, but them and other game companies were attacked at that time) they decided to initiate a playerbase-wide "verify your email address" check to improve the overall security relative to your LoL account. The IP-boost was an incentive to do it because if they judge their playerbase from official GD and reddit, well... yeah.
I assume it's the first time you logged into league in months? At the time it asked me to change my password and verify my email the first time I logged any account after the change before it let me log in.

Yeah, we powerlevel like that each other all the time, otherwise it would be too bothersome to play hardcore (after 1 person dies, the co-op would be essentially over)
Does anyone know, the passive ballistics makes rockets deal 100% more dmg. Does it mean that rockets from the cluster arrow rune deal 500% dmg (400%+100%) or 800% dmg? (400%*2)

A) I think they changed it to be lower than 50. I wasn't really paying attention, but I noticed a game I joined today and was the highest level in by like 8 was my level at 42. It could've happened earlier, but there was a point when the game just merged difficulty to my level and stayed there(maybe 40? maybe after I'd been in the game for some period of time?)
B)Can you not just sit in town on torment X that a person can successfully do a quest on, and get the 3+ mil xp? Like, I know I can do Lt. Vechem on at least Torment 3 based on how Mira on 6 went, and that's 3.6 mil.
