It's not the most complex game by a long shot, but they're all extremely well made for what they are and executed damn near perfectly (as to be expected after 6 generations). Like most Nintendo franchises, it's a series that you don't expect huge innovation or world-changing gameplay from, but you know each one is going to be fun and have some new neat little toy to play with.
In other news, fuckin Midwest weather man. Monday we got like 5 inches of snow and today it's almost all melted and it's 50 degrees out. wtf. Yup, flooding inc. There's been a drought of quality puns in this thread though.
Not able to flood this thread with puns yet, it's still snowing here.

That doesn't mean I need to alter myself in order to avoid hurting you. Will I? Probably, depends on the circumstances. My ex hated when I said "retarded", so I tried to avoid using it around her just to avoid bugging her.
But the thing is, people act as if it's a requirement. "I'm offended by that, they should fix it so I'm not offended anymore." No, I'm sorry, that's not how things work. I rarely discuss these topics but I will interject just this once. Things like crude jokes and the like are not in and of themselves bad things. The question is who your audience is. There are always two audiences: the people you speaking to, and the people who can hear you. Those two are not necessarily the same and people often confuse or disregard the second audience.

The reality is that Linear Warriors, Quadratic Wizards is a lie, and the Spirit Master obsoletes huge parts of the game just by itself. (Obligatory TvTrops warning.)

I've never played any Pokemon games except for Pokemon Stadium 2 for N64, they just seem like a huge grind/snooze fest. Pokemon is a kids game which means you can beat it doing anything you want, while also providing an incredible amount of hidden depth that lets you really get into it, whether it's the collecting, mathcraft or sheer cuteness of everything.

XY were the easiest gen in a long time (thanks to all the free shit you get and the EXP Share being broken as fugg), while I found BW and BW2 to be actually relatively difficult compared to previous gens. I think it was the way the routes and gyms were laid out, giving it a different curve. Ruby is the setting of the original Nuzlocke, though Hoenn is pretty hit or miss for some people.
Personally 4th Gen was my favorite.

The original Nuzlocke was actually a Gold/Silver run followed by a Red/Blue.

OK, so, Second Assault is all snipers, all the time it seems. Gotta love console BF! Wookie hunter mode engaged.

You get to sleep 6 hours and you're already done for? Or was it 5? Can't remember.
|
only about 5 when all was said and done - I could function on 6 hrs for school and stuff, but when I'm working my brain as hard as I am at work, it gets pretty draining
I've been pretty good about going to bed at a good time (~midnight) most week nights, so on the occasional days when I don't get enough sleep, it catches up with me. My body is jittery right now, but my brain is getting sleepy.

Are all these TL ads for Asian dating sites targeted at Asian men or men of other races who only want to date Asians? Real serious question.

Hmm, I forgot there was a census.

Seems about right. One surprising thing to me is that there about as many Black people as Native Americans considering how many more Black people there are.

Asian men don't need sites to find asian women.. the ads are obviously targeted at white males looking for mail order asian girls.
