Somebody who could actually write down notes as the game is being played and post about them after / discuss them with everybody on voicechat.

in a practical perspective, this means there should be post game critique (it seems there already is) with perhaps more emphasis on its relation to the draft. and for this to be valid, you need real drafts. i haven't actually played an inhouse yet so don't know how much of a problem, if it is at all, drafting is. just some tidbits from neo and this thread seem to give off dis impression~

Somebody who could actually write down notes as the game is being played and post about them after / discuss them with everybody on voicechat. too much hassle to maintain such critiquing for a long time, but there are people who when in the mood would be willing to do it. realistically, if someone were to send me a PM asking about two drafts (bans and picks and sides) from my standpoint i'd be interested in doing it (for my own entertainment and thought experimentation) while the process would not be too inconvenient (wouldn't take too long to think / jot down important thoughts). it'd be easy to maintain this level of action because i check TL for news and stuff and the PM sign is loud enough to always see a new one come in. if you want these inhouses to be a thing, should think for practicality as well.

I think if we actually want to learn, discussing drafts should be a major part of it. Personally I'm really bad at drafts and I could get better. I just fallback to Lux in ranked 90% of the time because I know she's a safe champion with no real counters who works in a majority of compositions.

it would be more practical to have lower burden requests (e.g. draft-only objective critique) or organic criticism (players themselves). also it may be more reasonable and helpful to have separate critics present for explanations and fleshing out of draft processes and reasoning. i have found from experience that this makes for the most valuable discussion at even high levels.

I assume you are referring to my post? I was fp in the first inhouse I played and someone told me not to ban anything good so that people could practice whatever they wanted. beyond that there were no other 'restrictions' they just told me what they wanted to do with their first 3 picks and I advised my team to draft accordingly. My apprehension was not that my team was unreceptive to strategic drafting (obviously they were not) but that perhaps the other team had not considered it and shouldn't feel bad about losing (in my opinion) in champ select.

First inhouse I played, I was 1400 ish in S2 (silver range). I got the SHIT KICKED OUT OF ME AND LOOKED LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT. But I learned a lot about that game and definitely didn't mind the stomp. People just need to know what to expect in an inhouse with better players.

I need some backup because I'm super busy nowadays and I'm sure people are capable of doing strong replay analyses + it would help this group out

- Ingame name iamthatis - Rank and division Silver? I don't play ranked but I'm definitely higher than whatever division Nimbus' Blitz skills are in. - If you are a lowbie (Gold or below), include what position you would be interested in working on. (List two) Top, support - For each role, identify two champions you wish to improve on Top: GP, Shen Support: Lulu, Leona - If you are Plat or higher, just include rank and division

I just went to the TL teamspeak page and my autoconnect didn't work (the click for 1 time connection) how do I connect? I went to teamliquid.teamspeak.com but I don't know if that is the TL teamspeak. I know there is an authentication code, but I can't tell where to input it. I'm a teamspeak noob, I've had the app for maybe a week T.T EDIT: I got it to work now.
