Depends entirely on the game/lane. Brut-LW rush if you're likely up against armor stacking, though Hydra so good for farming in lane. Going early pen (and a LW rush) helps counter the armor stack (which can/will shaft your lane presence/damage). If they're stacking health or damage, Hydra components are better, maybe with an early brut. BotRK is weaker than Brut/Tiamat's on Zed as well but people still buy it. Tiamat's/Hydra is a must and I skip BotRK for Brut if I lose lane badly. | ||

Hydra is comparatively much more essential on Fiora for teamfights and quick waveclear. A better team-centric buy. Zed can pop one person and do fine because Zed. | ||

Tiamat's was the second item I finished; planned build order, ignoring boots, was BotRK > Tiamat's > LW > Finish Hydra. I put a good amount of thought into the items I want to buy; I want BotRK active or Flash to kill a Nidalee/Draven that wants to run from me. I didn't want defensive boots and CDR > Aspd on Fiora due to how strong her ult is. I was simply out of position most of that game. | ||
