i was cheering for Percival although i knew the group was super hard. his results arent consistent but he had some highs that made me have some hope sadly this wasnt the day. i liked Zoun play vs Solar, Rogue was just on another level. group B: shit so sad for Trigger, he was so close to make it. when ByuN does his thing looks pretty solid, lets see how it goes in the next phase. thanks for the preview too!

Protoss bias can't even see their own success Still herO was doing everything to make it happen for Byun. He didn't take the 2nd gas in his natural and 3rd and no gasses in his 4th, 5th and 6th bases on 90+ probes and then struggled for gas. And he took a few fights where he just didn't target down the liberators.

Protoss bias can't even see their own success He was in a good position on multiple occasions and could have just pushed and killed HerO. I think by the end the gatewayman juggernaut was getting too big, even though he was trading very well while playing defensively. He was pretty close but he kept having to trade and never quite got to a real critical mass of libs. If he had, HerO’s no longer trading inefficiently and resetting and instead is just running into a killbox

Feels the matchup these days has kinda flipped around, where before Toss had to mix it up and hit clean to prevent Zerg getting into a late game where a top player was generally favoured, now it feels that’s swapped around SHIN’s had some early success but feels like he’s running out of steam/herO’s adapted a bit. It’s WombaT’s LawTM in reverse!

When a play favored herO, thr studio was quite silent, but audience exploded for SHIN's plays. Felt like I was the only one clapping for herO and cheering for him at times. Glad to have experienced it in person!
