I kinda lost track of what was happening in this game, but with largely mirrored builds and no damage done, how did Dark end up getting a Lair faster and having a better army to attack Reynor with? What was Reynor getting?
Dark has more workers, but Reynor has a bigger army which allows him to be more cost-efficient, so Dark's bank is actually staying similar to or below Reynor's. That's pretty cool.

I think he could have tied maybe? Don't see him winning from that position.

on average
Well, you also wrote "The only worry is that the current TvT meta features a lot of early-game gambits which can result in one-sided build order wins. So, in an unusual role reversal, the marquee ZvZ might actually have more chance to live up to the hype than the TvT." but that doesn't suit my anti-Terran agenda as well, so I ignored it .
I thought Armani was done for and was only half paying attention until I saw a huge Mutalisk flock show up and murder all Neeb's Probes. Guess I need to keep better focus .

How was that? I only caught the tail end of the last game.

I liked game 2, where Reynor had to defend against Nyduses and tunneling Roaches all over the place while also fighting with the main army, which felt like a really tough defense, and game 5 where Dark had his third base denied twice but managed to hold against Reynor's attack and draw it out into a really long game. The other three were one-sided.

Thanks
Pretty good last game to the series, I though Neeb had it
I did not follow Starcraft 2 for a long time. But, with my interest recently reawakened, I must say that ZvP is still my favorite matchup. Specifically, I still love watching Protoss being swarmed. Those Serral vs. Zoun matches were an excellent exhibit.
The best chance against Serral is to try a timing push, forcing him to make some potential mistake. Zoun couldnt do that, and he use the same build as Zest on the same map was kinda sad, Serral wont lose to the same build 2 times in a row.
I dont get why Terrans constantly just lose to run bys. Every zerg ever does it every single time they are behind and often just steal lost games away because terrans dont respond.
Happened to special, now happening to clem. Build planetarys and wall and leave a few units behind that arent widow mines
