Trap skill is just as good as the other 2, if not better currently. He still need to show it on the biggest stage though, like Zest and Stats made it to WCS and IEM Finals, Trap still hasnt cracked into top 4 of those tournaments yet. | ||

I think it's because he's a jack-of-all-trades style player. He doesn't have nearly as many "wow this guy's a genius" flashy strategies that sOs and Zest do but also doesn't always play the "look bulletproof despite playing a more passive, low risk style" thing Stats did. Because of this, he doesn't have the inherent weaknesses either of those styles of play but is still able to mix in characteristics of both styles into his play. Trap's style of play is basically the happy medium between the two extremes and as a result it makes his play sometimes look average or simple despite him being all around one of the best protoss players in the world. | ||

Yeah I think he’s a bit underrated base on his style, doesn’t have that madcap streak of an sOs, quite the micro and balls of a Parting, the build order magic of Zest or Stat’s playing the ‘right’ way but he’s so damn rounded and clean in so much of his play. | ||

Yeah, underselling Trap is pretty ridiculous. Trap is the only Protoss to win a Premier tournament in 2020 or 2021 other than Dreamhack: NA. | ||
