Trap nearly defeated Maru, hell nearly swept him in the last tournament before breaking down and going on tilt. I honestly don't know what to expect tonight. The meta seems to really favor Protoss in TvP in other tournaments and in this one as well, but the meta usually isn't what dictates whether Maru succeeds or not especially in this match up. Then we have sOs and Zoun in the other match up, which can go either way because you never know what you'll get with sOs especially in this match up. I have no idea who wins tonight. I bet on Maru because he's my favorite and the only non-Protoss (Protoss CAN'T keep dominating ST's forever) but I'd be happy to see any of these players win. For Zoun it would be his first big win, for sOs it would be a return to form and a sign perhaps he's elite again, and for Trap it would mean he conquered his demons from last season against Maru. Lots of good story lines. I just wish I enjoyed PvP more so I could be more excited for it. | ||

Normally, being greedy (=starting nexus, teching into blink+robo at the same time) and hoping your opponent does not attack is a good comeback strategy after suffering a big economic loss. Against a trigger-happy protoss like sOs... | ||
