So if the servers rules are like last time, Korea? Oh wait, Serral won last time despite worse ping on NA West
Or if you aren t only looking at EU and Kr, then it should clearly be NA, I gues, as they pretty much allways get ping advantage on NA?
Don t get me wrong, ping obviously has an impact, but pretending all these games are meaninglesss, because they aren t offline is just silly.
Serral had the advantage, his games were played on Central, no? For Reynor and others, it was alternating West and Central, and that seemed close to even.
They're not meaningless, but how can you actually say how much they matter? 200 ms ping is massive.

Finland counts as part of eastern Europe for server purposes so he gets to play half of his games against Koreans on NA Central though--he's not dealing with all NA West like Reynor. And ofc NA players don't necessarily get a ping advantage--it depends on the region cross-tables.

Oh right, that's how the rules were. But for most games, Koreans voluntarily agreed to alternate West and Central, except in the Trap-Reynor semis, which is what Reynor complained about afterwards.

Well it s obviously not the same as offline, but this is the best we get for now.
Yeah, it's fairly likely that Stats will play DRG twice and that's and even or Stats-favored matchup
Ah yes, noted PvZ master... Stats.
Stats is one of the 3 best PvZ players currently, possibly number one so... Yes? DRG lost Cyan and Patience recently. As much as I like him, his ZvP has looked shaky
If I am reading the bracket correctly - the only time Serral can face Reynor is in the grand finals? Assuming they both get out of their groups of course
