With the growth of the WardiTV YouTube Channel this year I wanted to give back to the viewers and celebrate our success together and in typical Wardi fashion that means it's time to run a tournament!
This is a $1,600 invitational and the games will only be available as YouTube uploads, with the idea being to upload one series per day (we will skip certain days that perform badly on YouTube due to GSL etc.) Exact schedule will be set up once we are closer to 25,000 YT Subs (24,000 at the time of writing this). Subscribe to the YT channel and you can unlock this event faster ;D
RO8 upload dates are set, will try confirm RO4/Finals ASAP, but they won't be far behind (simply trying to figure out the best schedule for uploading based on how games go in Douyu Cup.)

I don't think it's detrimental, I also don't think it adds much for me ^^ So do as you wish ;d
Haha, I clicked on the youtube link to see how far along we were, and I got sent directly to the "confirm subscription page," which was exactly what I was going to click next anyway!

Yep! Schedule is a bit delayed because I've had some issues with SC2 today so I didn't get to cast the games during my day off streaming, and I don't want to set out a schedule that isn't true. Gonna see what Douyu Cup games are like tomorrow and make the schedule around that

Wednesday, Aug 12 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) : RO8 - ShoWTimE vs INnoVation Thursday, Aug 13 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) : RO8 - TY vs Zest Friday, Aug 14 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) : RO8 - Stats vs soO Sunday, Aug 16 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) : RO8 - Clem vs Rogue
Thanks for your patience guys, got super busy and had to find time to cast the games :o
Just watching it right now. My feedback so far, please make sure that the addbreaks line up to be between games and not in the middle of one, otherwise absolutly amazing work so far. Thx
Yeah on the whole that's pretty much what I expected. TY shouzld decide though if he thinks 3 CC or 1-base plays are the better way to go, this half and half stuff isn't getting him places.

Having watched online-TY play against Patience in ITaX, I think he overperformed if anything.

Well the ITaX group was between his Code S matches against PartinG and Stats and also just a few hours ahead of matches in the War Chest league for his team. He was never gonna do anything substantial in that group. This match against Zest you can tell he put in some solid effort to try and win.
Also something I noticed with TY over the years is that his TvP armies are way more marine heavy than those of the other top Terrans who go towards more marauders. Marines are great against zealots obviously but when your marine count is so high and you pull SCVs into colossi...

Sounds like I didn’t miss much?
Haven’t seen a huge amount of TY’s non-GSL TvPs, is he struggling to find his own particular vP style? Seems when he has a specific opponent to prep for he comes up with approaches tailored to them, but given a clean slate he looks a bit ropier?
Idk, like I say I haven’t seen a hugeee amount of TYvP lately, just feels that way to me.

I found it funny that Ty won the only real lategame pvt they Played but seemingly didn't wanna Play one again after that

Maybe his wrists exploded or something.
TY knows what he’s doing so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt in picking vP styles. He does look most terrifying when he plays that really heavy tank/defensive style transitioning into a strangling super late game but that’s from my limited sample size of viewing after all!

Nah TY doesn't have any issues that I know of. Even his wrists hold up pretty well comparatively to most Korean Terrans
He probably wanted to do his bamboozle strat on Eternal Empire and then didn't think he could play a good TvP late game on Golden Wall and Pillars of Gold (which is much harder than on Deathaura imo). And maybe he thought he got kinda lucky in the first place to win Deathaura, I think Zest could have played that one better.
Man Clem absolutly dismatled Zest there, not even close super happy for him, that he gets some more wins v Koreans but this was hard to watch. Would have loved a more competitiv series tbh.
