Zest is best going to win the group and pretty much confirm his place at Blizzcon
The one I've been waiting for. It's a long shot, especially with Artosis heaving his dark magic towards him, but I think Leenock crushes his way to the 4th GSL ro8 of his career.
Zest 0-2 Leenock Trap 1-2 herO Leenock 2-1 herO Zest 2-1Trap Zest 1-2 herO
Never go against the artosis curse
As long as herO advances I'm happy. Most entertaining player in sc2.
We need a second zerg, we really do. Only having to prepare zvp might just make it possible as well.

hoping for Trap and herO to advance
I think Zest bombs out here. My heart is with Trap and probably herO, but this is what I think will happen:
Zest 0-2 Leenock Trap 2-1 herO Trap 2-1 Leenock (but due to Leenock bumbling strong leads -- fans are a little heartbroken) herO 2-0 Zest Leenock 2-1 herO (in a nail-biting finish that could easily have gone either way with a couple of different decisions)
wouldn't be surprised if leenock wins on the back of some bling busts
Trap or herO in first place, no idea who wins their first series. Leenock beats Zest two times to advance.

Voted for Trap and herO but damn herO had some rough losses lately... I feel like Zest can qualify. Leenock is hyped and zerg seems ok / good against toss lately, but I feel old stars like Zest and herO will want the ro8 bad enough for him not to get out of this group
Heart: Leenock and herO
Head: Zest and Trap
This group is even harder to call than group B, both herO and Zest are inconsistent and easy to choke, Leenock has a very good chance to come out considering he only has to prepare for PVZ and the matchup isn't hard these days.
Leenock and Trap to advance.
If Trap advances there's a chance for an all Jin Air ro4. I'd definitely favour sOs to get out his group.

Which is not anything substantial because we have no way to determine how close to "on" he really is. Although for his head to head with TY, it doesn't seem that sOs being "on" matters at all. Only thing that seems to matter is whether sOs avoids a straight-up game or not.

Are you ready for some Leenock?!

herO looking like he could steal your girl and bring her home to his mama's delicious paela.

I mainly want herO to advance. 2nd pick would be Leenock but Trap is OK too.

Uhhhh....did Zest not smell a bane bust with the amount of lings he saw? Phoenix first and no batteries???

This map should be very good for this build. It was good on Catalyst and this one is chokier and shorter.

Still, he saw the amount of lings with this first shade in. More than 4 lings, you have to go Oracle first to be safe. But still went Phoenix first.

Mass phoenix basically when both players open stargate. Other than that, it's a clown fiesta of Stargate/Robo/Blink/DT. If it goes into a macro game somehow, it's still archon/immortal/chargelot.

Fun games. Leenock vs Trap should be fun too.
I can't believe he let the general die like that.
lmao, poor host dies just before the gg
That lone swarmhost wanted to be a baneling like his brothers.
That felt a bit sloppy. Like it was definitely not a perfect game XD
Pretty cool decider. Leenock hasn't been in a GSL ro8 since late 2012 and Trap hasn't been in one since 2013.
This group is legit worse than group A.

Leenock's best chance against Trap is to do some early cheese/midgame rush/weird shit. Trap has one of the best lategame PvZs out there, probably second only to Stats.

WHAT?! Cheering for Leenock, but I can't believe Trap screwed that up
Perfect timing attack on that evo chamber, nothing leenock could do to save it.
Trap should've gone for the third or warped in some units at the main. Don't know why he tried force himself against the wall with a bunch of queens with transfuse.
couldn't fight the Artosis curse to a first place finish, but the second place looks to be there for the taking
Waow. Trap messed up and Leenock defended as well as possible given the lack of prep. RIP.
So why did Leenock play so cheesy vs Zest when he is pretty good otherwise?

The dream might be real. Finally a GSL where Leenock survives the group stages again

Zest just dies to weird or aggressive Zerg builds a lot. Not the worst choice against him.

Trap shouldn't try to mindgame so much, he's not that good at it. His straight-up play in PvZ is one of the best anyway.
I'm at a loss when it comes to explain those additional phoenix
cute outpositioning
it seems ok for Trap still but I'm a little worried he's not reproducing his probes (and right when I write this down he resumes probe production)
Trading banelings for nothing does not work so well with 4v4 bases instead of 5v3.

Why did Leenock try to flank this, you have brood(lings)lords to tank and let the hydra kill the interceptors ><

It's Trap's 7th time losing in the decider match of a ro16. He's never made ro8 in a starleague as well.
