Inno and Stats, the only question is in which order
Though it would also be nice if Hurricane could make something happen in GSL, his ladder hero status is kind of regrettable

Cheering for Stats and Inno, but Cure managing to advance wouldn't be so bad.

Lets go innovation

Doesn't cancel the nexus, crushes the engagement
Stats why

1st time listening to RapidRegret I liked the Muad'dib reference, hopefully we see GSL Atlas map on game 3.

Not as exciting game lads
|
It wasn't quite Zest vs Impact perfect game level play, but not bad by Stats.
|
Stats too good for Hurricane

Day #256 without a "more one-sided than a moebius strip." The world feels different. Changed somehow. Stranger.
|
Cure's first veto was Atlas... Lost all my respect tbh
|
Cure got a louder cheer than Inno

I'm not a terran player, but in generel, doom drops seem very useful.
Probably too useful. Is this just what you do in TvT these days?
Tbh I've always skipped most of TvTs, so it's the matchup I've seen the least. But the matches I've watched this year have been doom heavy.

Cure won the game with the doom drop but then decided he didn't want it.

Cure clearly has no idea how to close the game.

Ye, Stats should take this.

Great timing. When stats didn't go disruptor it was pretty much over.

In g1 Stats got rekt super hard.

Too greedy on game 1 macro wise for Stats.

I guess that first move out was to scare Stats into not teching up?

That's like when you give your opponent a window of attack but instead of a window it's an open roof

It's Season 3 time, INno can't lose until Blizzcon

Inno was right. It's easy to beat Protoss.

Inno >> Stats apparently.

Stats wasn't very smart that series no aggression just straight macro and inno outproduced him and won.

Cure is gonna destroy Stats.

Excellent read by Cure wow

The problem that terrans are finally catching on to is with the marauder buff they destroy the entire protoss army unless you can stall the game out long enough to get disrupters. Which means at the moment protoss has to be aggressive and limit/contain terran because if they don't maintain a strong early game advantage protoss just losses to the terran mid game push.

This is just one of those groups where 2 people advance but nobody really looked all that good even though that's not reflected by the score.

I see a clear lack of DieuCure on this thread, did he threw the towel just as Cure started this GSL winning campain?

Nice stim, would be shame if the oracles got close to it

Ok Stats is redeeming this group a little bit here.

They boys really are back in town.

Should have pulled Mules too for the lulz

I feel like they've been playing SC2-boxing and Cure has taken some shots to the head.

Still recovering from his 20 hour IEM qualification ordeal.

So all he had to do to barely win was to kill stim twice, kill workers, be ahead because terran had no production because of floating buildings, have the gold with +20 workers for 5 mins.
Why doesn't he just do that every PvT?

At this point, Cure should just play mech vs Protoss.
|
Let stim finish, garbage player confirmed

He should proxy several factories and send the units back to his base.

Nah proxy a rax somewhere with a techlab for stim.
|
Lib range timing perfectly lining up with the end of the fight.

Cure would have won this GSL if it wasn't for his terrible bracket luck.

Surely at the next season's GSL Cure!

lol... A stream of 2-0 finishes... I'm assuming that these matches were not very memorable?

Oh man yeah it's really tragic how Stats only had to blink in and focus fire liberators while Cure was furiously stutter stepping clumped marauders for maximum colossus splash. Like how is it fair Stats wins with the bigger army on even upgrades considering that?

How do you manage to lowkey whine avout tvp when stats literally got roflstomped by innovation twice in this group?

you heard it here first, stalkers are OP and you can just blink onto the terran army (????)

This was probably the worst group of the season. Most one-sided on paper at least.

Actually, we had a good sense of Reynor's form or lack there of considering his losses to Creator (GSL Qualifiers), Kelazhur (Anonymous #2), and aLive (Olimoleague) in the last month with only a victory over Solar to suggest he could beat good players.
Stats's recent online performances were actually pretty mediocre, so it wouldn't have been nearly the level of upset for him to get knocked out by Cure or Hurricane as it was for Reynor to get out of his group.

Online and offline are very different for some people. Based on online results Stats should fall out of his group in fourth place, and Impact should win the GSL.

Reynor's loss to Creator was offline and his other wins/losses were online.
Impact's online results are really freaking inconsistent. He looks like a god one day then terrible the next.

I for one always hesitate to use online results to predict something like GSL. It's better than nothing, of course, but not really that much better. Hurricane, for instance, looks pretty strong online but got swept here today.
