There seem to be fewer entertaining games among the very best players than among the second-tiers. Probably because when the best are playing, the first one to make a mistake just instaloses. Whereas when both players are making mistakes, the game seesaws and continues on in entertaining fashion. And of course, if herO or Dark or Inno were here, watching them just roflstomp everyone else wouldn't be entertaining for a lot of people either. That being said, when the best players really break out the big guns the games can get insanely epic (but that happens rarely at best). | ||

Remember, the average BW Proleague game was a ZvZ you couldn't stand, and the average MLB game is a 6-2 snooze for two non-playoff teams :D | ||

I saw TIME do that against the admittedly weaker Toodming in GPL. Eastwatch is good for that style, true, but that doesn't help if your ghostball keeps getting fungalled or your bases get ransacked by cracklings or any of the other mistakes that TIME made. Also I'm getting mildly annoyed by the amount of hype Tastosis is putting into this. Not every move is the best move ever, and not ever player is the best player ever. And even if they were (in which case it should be self-evident), saying that repeatedly gets old fast. Reminds me of Katowice last year. I guess allowances can/should be made for the newcomers though. | ||
