The newest map pool has just come into play in the last week or so, but the Team Liquid Map Contest #10 has already been announced and map submissions are fully underway! The Team Liquid Map Contest is a competition which allows map makers to show off their works and get rewarded for it, as well as a way for Blizzard to find new maps for future map pools (the current map pool is made entirely from maps which were submitted in TLMC9!)
Our job is to get these maps seen in competitive play, allowing for the judges and the public to see these maps in real games before voting on the final maps in the judging phase. For the TLMC 10 we are bringing some of the best players in the world together to compete in the tournament phase.
We're happy to announce that WardiTV will be running the $4000 Blizzard sponsored event "WardiTV Team Liquid Map Contest Tournament #2" for the tournament phase of the 10th Team Liquid Map Contest. High ranking players from recent WCS events, our first Map Contest Tournament and the GSL are being invited to play in the tournament which will run every day from February 14th-20th.
The tournament will run Ro16 Round Robin Groups of 4 players, where each player plays 3 maps against every other player, followed by a single elimination bracket including a third place match (BO5/BO7/BO15)
Quarterfinals - Sunday, Feb 18 11:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) Semifinals & Third Place - Monday, Feb 19 11:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) Grand Final (BO15 All Maps Played) - Tuesday, Feb 20 11:00am GMT (GMT+00:00)
Excited to see these guys play on brand new maps. Hopefully you'll have Vods up shortly after because some of the days (weekdays lol) I won't be able to watch live. :x

Yeah sadly convincing Protoss to play was tough, they don't want to learn the new wall offs and stuff for all the maps

Just going to post here for those wondering : Nerchio had an issue where the maps were stuck at 98% download. After trying multiple fixes for ~30 minutes we decided to reschedule the remaining matches instead of waiting for a fix that might not happen in the near future.
When we have the reschedule organized we will let you all know.
