reaper = good and Cyclone = abuser ? This is like saying ling-baneling all in in ZvZ is genius and roach war is bad. I failed to see the rationale here. Bulky units like cyclone does require good micro to use properly. Similar to setting up good concave in a roach war. | ||

In LOTV he basically is imo MKP mark II where he just goofs randomly trying assert pressure on the map which is just way to risky in Marine Tank comps. One bad siege / un siege and you can lose the game which is how i reminded myself of the Maru vs GuMiho series last year in Quarter Finals. | ||

Maru's lategame is very good but he always goes for coinflip builds (rushes, fast 3 CC) and loses earlygame. In iem against gumiho, he was fighting well in the lategame, yet he lost the series 3-2. All three loses were due to coinflip openings. | ||

Well, I'm not saying he's good, just that there wasn't any real end game  To me it looks that Maru is lost in the early game, but I saw him play 4 games only | ||

Maru's lategame TvT is usually defensive, he basically copied TYs style of holding expansions while sending 1-2 medivacs at a time to harass. What you're describing is closer to ByuN or aLive. | ||
