ok !

should we be allowed to think that the gap is sort of narrowing though ? In past days, you'd never get so many close 3-2 series (Special, ShoWTime, Neeb), not to mention Neeb vs sOs... Of course going full foreigner in the last game seems to still be a thing though.

I think it always has been around the same

the gap that is

except in the very early Steph & Nani period

nah 2014-15 the gap was so giant we saw players like Keen who were trash in korea come over and rek every foreigner.

We also saw Snute beat the GSL and SSL champions back to back in 2015. I do think we like to overstate the gap.

Lilbow vs Life left its mark on people's minds

Because of what Lilbow said, though. Dark took care of Neeb and Elazer at Blizzcon just as quickly, but it never had the same impact.
i took a break from the scene, what was said and what happened. lilbow life

said he didn't practice for it because LotV beta was out and he focused on that.

but who won

Life 3-0 in under 30 minutes with just lings

wheni left lilbow was a nobody. come back and there's highlight reels of him. must have carried foreingers for a bit

It was barely 20 minutes. And of course it gets even worse with the fact that Lilbow never was relevant in LotV afterwards.
Every 60 seconds in Africa, a minute passes.

This was a great tournament, but lost its flavor when all foreigners lost. Does anyone know, when will we see another foreigners vs Koreans tournament? BlizzCon or sooner?

Blizzcon

I mean there is still the team match tomorrow.

Just a lot of mirrors :/

what team match?

8am tomorrow

Foreigners have a decent shot imo

Honestly, aside from Showtime I don't see any foreigner winning, not even Neeb. 6 mirrors is rough for foreigners

Nerchio > Stats, ShoWTime > sOs, Neeb > herO and Scarlett > Dark, though unlikely, are not entirely out of this world. I'd like those 4 wins to happen so that we get the ace hype.
(if I had to predict I'd predict the first 3 to happen and Scarlett to lose, so yeah 5-3 for Korea)

It was barely 20 minutes. And of course it gets even worse with the fact that Lilbow never was relevant in LotV afterwards.

Lilbow obviously had practiced, he just said that cause he was bitter that he got destroyed. I'm not sure why we pretend that he didn't two years later still.

Korea wins 5:3 or something I think, should not be a complete stomp

agreed :D
