Irritating. Cause if you watch Korean SC2 for more than 6 years, you actually know where these guys come from and start cheering for them. I watched the very first season of GSL live mate. I even remember Rainbow and DJ DOC performing beforehand! Then why is it hard to understand that someone cheers for ByuN (who's been around since 2010) instead of a foreigner? I barely know Neeb, why would I cheer for him over ByuN? Cause he's from the west and so am I? That's even a more stupid reason to cheer for someone in my opinion Why do you barely know Neeb?
Cause my passion died before he got good, and it's only now returning (a little bit)

Irritating. I just have no faith in foreigners in Korea. Also, I like sOs and want him to win regardless of where he is from. I think there's a difference in thinking they're going to lose, and wanting them to lose. First is understandable, I think the second is lame. What? The simple fact is that some of the guys here actually like the korean players better. That happens naturally when you follow the korean scene closely tbh. Just like you want the korean to lose because you like the foreigner better, there is no difference I like the Korean players and I have those I prefer within it. I just want underdogs that are outside of the system to do well and compete with them - those on our ladders. Irritating. Or maybe, just maybe, some people simply prefer watching the absolute best Starcraft and tend to prioritise that. No reason to attribute to malice that which can be just aswwell explained by differences in opinion / preference. If the foreigners beat them, they deserve to be there. I want foreigners to be the best - that's why I want them to win. So just to understand it, if someone wants the koreans to win he is negative, etc but you wanting the foreigners to win is ok? Seems weird to me. I mean, I'm kiwi. Pretty much everybody outside of NZ likes it when the All Blacks lose because it's the underdog winning. The rare American rugby fan might watch Super Rugby, don't know who half their national team's players are, but if they were to watch the two teams if they ever came up against each other would support the Eagles. I like it when the All Blacks lose too.  I bet you're supporting the Lions this weekend, too. I am but that's because I'm from Auckland and fuck the Crusaders
