IMHO this tournament was way more interesting than Blizzcon.

?? TvT is super coinflippy. Just look at TY, winning two series 3-2. aLive won 3-2 and lost 2-3. Inno losing 2-3 after stomping Ryung 3-0 in no way proves he is a choker.

the rest of his career does that.

Did Mvp invent choking in that finals vs Life ?

I guess you could say that given all the times he has not lived up to the hype. But Inno pulls a fucking massive hype train and he's only human (despite what we call him). He can't win every time he as the hype.

Two GSL trophies and two IEM trophies makes the most successful choker of all time if you wanna call him a choker.

Nestea invented choking when he created the universe. It just took some time to be discovered.

Both GSLs were won against soO and ByuL, Kongs. IEM gamescom was gainst soO again. Never said he wasn't successful, but playing under pressure isn't his strong point.

It's less about the number of tournaments or prize money than how dominant a player is. There was a point in time where MVP had no equal. Picking between Byun, Innovation, and TY seems a toss up based on the tournament.

Byun looked less convincing than TY and INno I'd say. And aLive played pretty fantastic throughout. But yeah I agree with your point, he's not leading the field like Mvp could do back in the day.

It amuses me greatly that INno is proving me right about how he's a choker, despite so many people telling me otherwise last year.

Losing there is hardly a proof.
INno has been overrated a lot in 2017.

This might be true. It's always harder for me to tell with less LANs in 2016/17.

Yes absolutely loved the format. And the panel desk was alot more analytically/game-focussed rather than just making jokes and memes + awesome that they were keeping up with other games being played. Made it feel more like a real big event.

Also so many high quality games + players have just become so good at microing and multitasking. Really fun to watch.

Gamescom was onesided I will give you that, but his GSL victories were against soO and ByuL when they were at the top of their game, trying their hardest to break the Kong curse before it solidified into permanence.

Yeah, he is arguably the greatest player in the world, even now, but being the greatest doesn't mean you win every single match you play. TY is arguably better, ditto for Stats. Nobody else.

TY I would never predict to win this - sure, he is great but in this competition ...? In any case, the results point to the matches being quite fun, could have been good.

I was finally snowboarding the whole day and regret nothing
