No he didn't.

Stephano had a pretty nice run when he was on form. Couldn't translate it to anything in Korea that was substantial, but his style was adapted, stolen and studied by most.

So, in other words, "no he didn't"?

Neeb can only beat Koreans at PvP. The caster-hype is making the entire foreignerland delusional.

Reality is finally sinking in and the tears are glorious.

Ssssshhhhh don't say that around here, we're not allowed tell the truth.

Wait, do some people actually think that some foreigners = koreans now?

There won't be someone as talented as Stephano among foreigners ever again tho.
Maybe if Stephano comes back before being too old?

Look I don't think Stephano is a bad player but he had a moment and that has built a legend behind him. Let's think of all the good players instead of holding Stephanos unbelievable ability to make roach up as the ultimate achievement of foreigners.

That's because you never played against him nor watched him before his rise lol.
The guy was schooling terrans in go4sc2 when T was imba, just with brillant play, even before he was known.

There was ONE foreigner in blizzcon 2013, I'm not surprised by that. And most people didn't think that foreigner would do very well, myself included.

I guess I was right and Dark promised no rush so they didn't take a break before this game.

Stephano didn't just have "a" moment though. He won tournaments vs Koreans in a reasonably consistent fashion. No other foreigner has managed to that before or after.

No he didn't.

he did, several interview back in the day from koreans saying that they studied stephano yet he took games and box from koreans

No, Neeb is a god of SC2 now because of a very good winning streak in PvP which coincidentally helped him win a tournament.

he played 2 bad Zergs and PvP'd the rest of the tournament

They qualified for Kespa Cup did they not.

Pet won a ZvZ (#pureskill) and I have no idea how Rogue had done it given he played completely terrible.

I think you hit the nail on the head!

hey I found it. He beat viOlet in a ZvZ and edged out Myungsik the Overwatch player 2-1

Do you mean Myungsik The guy who won both his gsl groups and made it to the ro4?

AS AN OVERWATCH PLAYER?

You're totally right, rogue's just plain bad.
hi. big fan.

im glad that we have come to the point that people who watch 2 tournaments a year can call others deluded based on their in-depth knowledge of the scene and result analysis
