Is it too much tinfoil hat thinking or have Blizz really done all they can to give every advantage to foreigners this year? No this is just nonsense. How is it well known that 2 bo3's is easier than 1 bo5? And why on earth would that specifically help foreigners? | ||

And LOL, don't be pathetic. Thorin was not discounting Bo3s , but rather saying that their result was not as impressive as beating them in a Bo5 would be. Stop being deliberately blind and suggesting that I or Thorin view things in a black-and-white manner. But you do view it in a black or white manner when you make it out to be "just about one bo3". No we have seen tons of exmaples over the last 10 months indicating that the gas is alot more narrow than it has ever been. And eveyrtime results gets brought up, some people keep saying "nah it's not a bo5 offline so it doesn't count". Like somehow 1 bo5 means more than 50 bo3s. A 2-0 bo3 is more an indication of skill than a 3-2 bo5. And giving how the series planned out, it actually looked as if Showtime was a level above Byun in terms of macro. | ||

Yes it's standard GSL format, but it's been standard GSL format for years now. Why have Blizz suddenly decided to change to this format when the previous 3 years where Bo5? Also coincides with the extra inclusive of foreigners. I do think they made an effort to stack the odds in their favour. | ||
