that was the one point in HotS were they were actually quite ok in the metagame, but Life had been already miles behind on Terraform

I really don't understand the point of playing the same 5 commercials for Blizzard games during a Blizzard game tournament. It's not like most viewers already know of these games? If they wanted it they would have bought them already would be my guess. All it does is annoy me to see the same videos over and over again.
I guess these marketing guys just know more than me.

Its a matter of meta, in WoL and HotS sentries and colossus were more common and the majority of the protoss army was made of armored units.
In LotV colossus are used more, sentries are used less because of ravagers and with the introduction of adepts protoss the bulk of a protoss army is made of light units.

As protoss you feel forced to take the gold because otherwise Zerg will get the easy gold anyway (and then the other 3 bases that are so easy to take). Stats knew only option was to turtle to stargate, Dark knew this and did a bust
