he's clearly better than Lambo, Serral, Firecake, Pilipili, Huk, Pig, Puck, Masa, Harstem, Kelthuzad, Neeb and Elazer and probably better than Mana and Bunny as well tbh. rofl Major isn't even close to Elazer/FireCake/Serral well keep in mind i'm talking completely out of my HotS ass as i don't have a real clue of what happened after that in the foreigner scene, hence my sig. but yeah, i generally tend to rank players by potential, not by average performance, so Major would have to be somewhere close to the top. The power rank was almost entirely based on their LotV results, of which MajOr has very little. He struggled in Copa America, and his qualification came with a couple of sloppy sets which made me think he had promise (which I noted in my writing) but because of his repeated failures in WCS last year I was cautious and placed him low. He's performed well today, so he ends up looking underrated, but that reasoning is completely logical and is not contradicted by the reality we have observed. I think people shitting on the PR should try doing their own and see if they don't look silly at some points More importantly, realising that doing a PR before writing the games is harder than doing it after you know all the results yeah ofc I meant doing it before the tournament, it's easy to rank the losers from #32 to #17 and the winners from #16 to #1 and say "look how clever I am" lol yep It's just that unsurprisingly 90% of the criticism has come after the matches rather than before You deserve some shit for Drogo at #3 though, he's looked pretty weak the weeks leading up to IEM. Yeah this is the only one I really disagreed on even before the tournament Yeaaaah it's pretty questionable, I admit that. I suppose I just saw a way for PtitDrogo to win the tournament, but I wasn't really sure where to place him within the people who -could- win, so I ended up overrating him pretty hard. I'll take that one on the chin!

He seems to not have that killer instinct to help him end the game His army control is incredibly subpar to his other skillsets, and army control is Snute's strong point.

I have actually never seen this in a pro game before this series in ZvT, I think. But the first game made it really clear that Major has probably neither and he doesn't really have the training in splitting out the green ones.
On the other hand, on ladder, I build vipers every single game the opponent has any air, in any matchup

I wonder if MajOr still has contact with some of his former teammates from Team 8.

Happy, the Conqueror of Nightmares
I'm really happy I went with the whole 'monster under the bed' thing for Hydra considering how universal the fear has been for him in interviews, lol.

Love Snute's style. Not quite sure whether this is the best approach to the midgame yet, but otherwise, really cool.
