The power rank was almost entirely based on their LotV results, of which MajOr has very little. He struggled in Copa America, and his qualification came with a couple of sloppy sets which made me think he had promise (which I noted in my writing) but because of his repeated failures in WCS last year I was cautious and placed him low. He's performed well today, so he ends up looking underrated, but that reasoning is completely logical and is not contradicted by the reality we have observed. I think people shitting on the PR should try doing their own and see if they don't look silly at some points More importantly, realising that doing a PR before writing the games is harder than doing it after you know all the results yeah ofc I meant doing it before the tournament, it's easy to rank the losers from #32 to #17 and the winners from #16 to #1 and say "look how clever I am" lol yep It's just that unsurprisingly 90% of the criticism has come after the matches rather than before You deserve some shit for Drogo at #3 though, he's looked pretty weak the weeks leading up to IEM.

And I hope you guys enjoyed the writing. For the WCS recap I'll definitely take a step back from controversy, but don't worry- I have plans for Shanghai ;p

Major's potential isn't very high since his battle micro is subpar (and always has been). He does however look good when he outmultitasks medicore players. But when he doesn't do a ton of damage, he usually has trouble winning.

Snute is impressive !!! What composure and resilience...

maj0r tries to drop so much he forgot he could make one big army and finish the game

Page 100 woohoo
Major has no answer to Snute's lategame style it seems

thanks, I've seen lots of Vipers... but almost always they get a-moved into the fight and die

had this pegged as one of my upset picks cause Snute seemed to have some on and off struggles vs T lately but I guess he's making it work today
|
what cost Major this game was being up in bases vs Zerg and having like 8 liberators total and 16

+ is there another counter to Liberator in big numbers? At one point, Corrupters and Ravagers just don't do the trick anymore.

I feel at some point Major has to realize he has to just gather his entire army instead of having 20-30 supply dedicated to denying fringe bases and just go for the throat
