yeah, was a lot of fun. In the downtimes when I had to wait like 72 hours for a reaction to finish my prof discussed with me and another student how one could produce crystal meth in alternative ways so that the government couldn't track you down for buying the necessary starting materials. Also we produced nitrogen triiodide just for fun (an explosive that blows up with a loud bang and big violet cloud). Was a good time overall, though frustrating at times when reactions just don't work for unknown reasons
