Clean shots on most of the Templar. Then sniped some others.
I always fail to understand why we don't see 2-3 ghosts regularly in TvP. 3 EMPs is a lot of "point of attack" damage to open a big engagement, but I can understand some of the issues.

Yes, Inno had half the map when Flash was still on 4 base. Flash built 2 CCs and did nothing with them for like 5 minutes and that pretty early in the game.
I liked Inno's decision to double expand behind it and try to break flash's siege line though. He deserves credit for his decision making after he was so far behind like that
Thought Flash had that like 4 times but I've watched enough Innovation mech to know he's sneaky as hell, he always knows how to counter and what to produce not just to stay in the game but to seize the initiative.

Still Innovation made a few smart decisions that I respect
he thought he could finish the game considering superior army and he had a pretty nice bank. pretty wasteful especially throwing away all those ravens but inno played it pretty smart. took extra expansions and pretty much played it how a bio player would play against mech. lots of harass with the hellions as well.

On top of that i generally think he got out multi tasked aka not having bases mining or shutting down Innovations expansions. He looked ahead at many points to me (Flash) yet he still managed to lose so hard towards the end. Oh well

Well you get a fast lair on 2 bases and get burrow before you get your third. Rogue/Life used this strategy a lot in the gsl s1 this year
In this game it was burrow starting at the same time as roach speed on third base already saturating though.
mhm, you can do it in different variations (IE: when you think your opponents attack is coming). The basic idea is just create an anit-timing for an aggressive 2-3 base protoss players
the reason the 2nd base lair->3rd base is the most popular is because it counterattacks the +2 blink timing that is very popular.

INno vs Flash was outrageously good. Dream vs Zest looked good but then it ended with one bad fight for Zest so that was meh. Classic vs Life was cool and funny because Life went full BM. Dark vs Stats is like every PvZ ever.

I think Terran contributed to it. His vs T was a chink in his armor that we never saw exploited because he was dominating at a time where terrans were endangered.

He's still an incredibly good player in some matches and at times looks just terrible.
The issue is that people always look at the outcome of games and not the form of the player within it. If you pay attention to zest's play he combines brilliant play at times with massive mistakes.
It's that he can play so well at one time and so poorly at others that I think he may just have a mental issue/lack confidence.

Neither was mine, like I said, it's of general consensus that a GSL win is something that gives a GSL pin. Hence Mvp has 4 GSLs and Life 3.

I think people are giving KT too hard of a time. Its warranted when they kept sending out Zest to lose in the ace match, however the don't deserve it today imo. I think they sent out life because they expected Classic to be the ace like he was vs MVP.

Polt is like the only one of those who brings together a decent parade push. Flash has given up parade pushing in lieu of moving out at max basically, and YoDa is just not good these days.

Yea probably. I wasn't watching prosc2 during 2011 (was just a bronze leaguer then) and my greatest memory of blatant imbalance in the game over a long period was BL-infestor. Then I also heard about the blink all-in era. In both these times it always seemed like terran could not win at all barring the top 1/2 players

They have a lineup of: Zest, Life, Stats and TY Flash They should have finished top2 every season. People are treating KT just right

Polt is like the only one of those who brings together a decent parade push. Flash has given up parade pushing in lieu of moving out at max basically, and YoDa is just not good these days.
Strange isn't it? I'm pretty sure after he did fancy thor micro on his stream in a losing effort vs solar every other terran started doing it. Then he stopped.

Eh, today it was mostly on the players. Zest was in a good spot, then took the worst possible engagement and lost. Flash was in an incredible position and then lost because he got overeager.

Eh, today it was mostly on the players. Zest was in a good spot, then took the worst possible engagement and lost. Flash was in an incredible position and then lost because he got overeager.
Yes, this is a trademark that flash has shown in Sc2. It's so clear that the emotional aspect takes over and he makes a mistake.
And I'm happy the points you made about zest too, because he played well too and threw it all away

Actually Inno is far more guilty of this. His stream vod's have so many creative/interesting builds that he rarely/never used in professional matches to my knowledge

Depends on his TvZ and TvP
He used to be the best TvP player in Proleague last year, some of that's still there. And his TvZ is always decent. But an Ace player needs a certain clutch factor and I'm not sure TY has that right now. He's so rarely fielded and he almost made 1st in his GSL group with Maru and ByuL and ended up in 3rd, I doubt he's super confident.

Since TY is never in the lineup they should make him prepare exclusively for ace matches. Imagine if he brings up a new crazy prepared build every match... in that case even if we lose I wouldn't really care !

stats has a lower chance to beat dream. that added with expedition lost, i like the life decision here. only the zest ones are the bad ones imo. dream prepared a lot vs protoss for zest and hero, he destroyed zest who isnt that different from stats in this matchup and dream recently beat stats 3-1 without problems. i dont think life was a bad call

This is actually not true for KT specifically. As a Bisu fan who saw him lose countless times in individual leagues since joining SKT, I also came to notice when someone like Flash would often get breaks from ace matches on days before individual matches. I agree with your general statement, but KT coaches do have a history of caring about an individual's success.
Great build from dream, his 3 CC build is actually fairly safe because he still gets hellions + banshee so with good micro he can hold anything. Low ground CC first is a gamble, but it's not like Zergs are gonna go blind 6 or 10 pool when 90% of Terrans will open reaper expand on a 2 player map.
I think Dream's macro parade push style with Thors is designed to kill these mass muta builds that Zergs seem to go for every game, it's time for Zergs to try something different like roach bane straight into corruptors + hive, instead of trying to build their Muta ball.

Just because they play doesn't mean they have to use their "secret" builds, not that there are really any secret builds any more. And last time Dream absolutely destroyed Stats in a bo5 series, Stats only won one game where dream tried to 2 rax proxy him but failed, Dream's TvP is just incredibly solid - not as flashy as Maru, but more consistent.

From what I remember Flash just lost because he didn't get enough map control. He had at least 2 CC's early on but didn't even morph them to OC's for several minutes, which probably was huge. Innovation had half the map and when Flash struck his base he still was mining a lot at the left half of the map. On the other hand every hit from Innovation was twice as bad for Flash.

No, not really, INnoVation at his peak might be the most mechanically gifted player SC2 has ever seen, but Flash was ahead for the majority of the game. Seems like someone updated INno's "Adaptation" subroutine which caused him to make good decisions for once.
