Compared to like a DT rush, which just relies on getting a dark shrine ASAP and hoping you get a proxy pylon down. | ||

The basic idea is just create an anit-timing for an aggressive 2-3 base protoss players the reason the 2nd base lair->3rd base is the most popular is because it counterattacks the +2 blink timing that is very popular. | ||

A DT rush has to be hidden, which is way more technical to execute than any of these things you mentioned for a high level player.
