Snute missing injects, floating 500 minerals and 1k gas, and being 40 behind in supply. I don't think bunny had over 200 minerals. He is so good.

Someone should make a time-lapse of Rifkin's beard through all of this. It should have grown over the course of 15 hours

Well because Bunny seems to have gotten better and stronger as the day has gone by while snute has gotten worse. You would think it would be the other way because of all the micro terran has to do.

if you're good at micro you're good at it, so while your reaction times would probably suffer and you might cramp up you're still going to be able to do the movements well

on the other hand, as xeno and ZG were pointing out, zerg has to do a lot of really frustrating and irritating things in this MU like defending reaper/hellion/banshee, defending drops, and constantly pulling ling/bane back onto creep while terran is poking. being tired you would probably want to just bust into terran and stop fucking around with their annoying minefield guerrilla crap which is the wrong way to approach it, and snute has taken a lot of engagements exactly like that

Snute is at the point where he is failing basic macro, even though Zerg macro and micro mechanics aren't more taxing than Terran.

Snute is completely fucked

i just hope he's not emotional or pissed off at himself about it like when he drops out of tournaments. it would prolly be really shitty for his state of mind to play out and lose 10 more standard zvts just because he feels like he has to. hopefully he's able to have fun with it still

I think this series has been long enough that we can draw the conclusions that Bunny's fundamentals are probably way better, even though he is clearly tired and it shows he is still able to do the basics well enough to win.

Bunny up 40 supply with no real economic damage ro both. Bunny is a macro god.

normally snute is slightly better at macro, but it seems that snute has human stamina, and bunny that of an insane person.

he's not "failing macro," he's overmaking defensive lings and falling behind in economy, then falling behind in supply by taking really bad engagements

a couple of games ago bunny was at like 90/150 supply without any major engagements happening so i think your characterization is inaccurate, clearly he's playing better and that's why he's winning but "snute is failing at macro" is wrong

i think it's more a thing of stamina, bunny seems barely faced while snute can't do anything anymore.

Overmaking unnecessary units and then falling behind on overall supply by more than 40 without any major engagements aswell as missing injects seems to accurately describe failing macro to me.

In tournament play, it's a good idea to mix in some cheeses to keep the opponent honest. How come Snute isn't mixing in any cheeses?

overmaking defensive units has nothing to do with macro wtf are you talking about? that's a bad strategic choice that results in an economic disparity. failing at macro means missing your injects, missing macro hatches, idling larvae with a bank, etc. what you're saying is like saying if i play safe and you play greedy then i "failed at macro"

also you misread my post, BUNNY was at 90/150
