I don't think there is a way of breaking turtle mech after a certain point. I would love to see a genius Zerg player find the answer, though.

lets all channel for Soulkey's comeback.

I think Soulkey's ironwall is one of the few hopes.

SK just needs to care enough and he could be a star. I hope a KeSPA team saves him

He left SKT because he felt burned out. I don't think he'll go back for at least this year.

My bet is on hyvaa. Zergs will be dumbfounded and he will show up and say, "Just all-in them first"

What about Leenock? He might have the answer:D

Not the biggest fan of that hype/recap video. Would have liked to see maybe half of the moments they chose but a little longer because it felt too "jumpy". But really cool winning reaction shots from Ret/MLord

He should compromise and go ask Coach Choya for a spot in MVP

Hyvaa's performance before that was great and then he went and pushed Inno to his limits. Great GSTL series.

Ultra/Queen/Infest is ok (Dark/Fanta, Morrow/Petraeus)

Vipers too. But that isn't really breaking turtle mech, and is rather facing it lategame, which isn't what viOlet was going for anyhow.

you don't break him, you just deny the 5th/6th bases where he doesn't have a bajillion turrets and 2 pfs. on the other hand if your eco gets denied you're screwed because your composition is so expansive.

I was watching OGN's starhangshow where the famous Hanbit/Woongjin stars coach Lee Jae Kyun talked about soulkey (i'll find the vod later if I can)

He said that soulkey has a hard time focusing and really knuckling down. But if he could, he is one of the most mechanically strong zerg's out there.

I believe it, too.

Yeah and he was pretty bad on SKT so you could tell he needed that break.

People overstate how bad he was. Sure he was nowhere near WJS Sk level but a decent PL record staying in GSL and a WCG win(?) is still pretty solid. He just looked bad compared to what we were used to from him.

Kind of makes me wonder if being a GSL champion went to his head or something. If he had trouble practicing before winning I imagine after being a champion it would be easy to lose what little motivation you had
