For stalkers it's really not that big of a difference, much less than what one would think. For archons it's still good ofc. | ||

It's always made sense to me, especially since your ultimate army vs zerg is a skytoss/templar army which benefits from shields. Also random muta switches are a lot less scary if you have some type of upgrade for phoenixes already. | ||
