Byul, life and Dark are just outliers, oh no wait, I mean they faced shittier opponents. Nonono sorry, what I really wanted to convey was that they were just in good form and got lucky. /s

To be fair, that strictly holds only for statements quantified as "every Z in this group", "no Z in this group" or similarly, statements quantified such as "there is a Z in this group that" are false by default. So one has to be carefully. Nevertheless, every Z in this group got beaten by a strategy that would not we viable against swarmhosts!

On May 06 2015 22:25 GumBa wrote: Came back dreading the worst. Got happiness. How were games 2 and 3 of Inno vs Panic Game 2 : INno tried to go for a fast widow mine drop with 2 hellions that got shut down pretty hard. Panic went on to counterattack with 3 gates worth of stalkers and an observer. INno finished a clutch bunker and it seemed that he was going to win a fast 2-0, but Panic had a next move in mind with a warp prism sentry drop that won the game. Game 3 : Panic blind countered INno's reaper expand into double widow mine drop by going for 5:00 forge and a cannon in each mineral line. INno chose to go for 5 rax into third while Panic elected to go for a 2 bases 1-1 blink 3 colossi all-in. It seemed that he would be able to break through at some point but INno had cleverly moved his third to another base and was muling it like a madman, giving him just enough resources to get rid of the colossi and amass some marauders and marines while Panic was left with blink stalkers. INno finished the game with a scv pull while Panic was trying to reach storm on 2 bases (he was pretty dead whatever INno chose to do).

I'm really glad to see him going through. Also hyped up about INno taking the second spot.

Only way the 2 (inferior) protosses could advance was if they carefully read "the great pile of protoss bullshit". Which was read to me yesterday on the ladder, by some russian dudes.
