The Blizzcon run was miraculous as was the WCS season 2 when he finally learned how to beat protoss but he always got super exposed by better players in the finals He was 2nd best Zerg of they year after Soulkey though so theres that Zerg was very weak overall in 2013 (not the balance, but the tournament placings). Not saying JD didn't have a great year but for example soO's 2014 was better than Jaedong's 2013

How much time does it take to prepare for Has?
Exactly 30 minutes of Vod watching.

Yeah right now there is no doubt about that I agree. But it kinda feels like nobody sees what Jaedong already did in sc2, when for every other player his achievements would be huge.

By getting bopped by 6 pylons and 3 cannons in front of his natural?

I honestly wish he retired and went back on streaming on afreeca. Well Blizzcon 2013 was a close one until the finals. Some really believed he returned to his glory days which was shut down pretty quick. And as for Afreeca streaming I'd doubt he hasn't thought of it at least once but he has too much pride to simply give up and surrender because he isn't playing well. Plus he would never live down Flash laugh at him for giving up on SC2.

It's just that as you age more things enter and become part of your Life More things you care about ,and more things that need your attention practicing is hard and exhausting even when you have coaches with you ,and the freedom to focus only on it. Jaedong has neither teammates nor coaches to help him with practice nor does he have the luxury he used to have to be able to focus only on the game. Hence his for is lacking. Then again according to one of the greatest chess players of all time I am full of shit so take my ramblings with a grain of salt.

Suppy even warned him about Has I think, but can you really be prepared for that? I don't think there was a vod showing what Has did.

Also won with a 6pool in ZvZ. he was absolutely NOT the most successful player in 2013 LOL. Also he was god awful in ZvP everyone made fun of him for it until like July or August
