The strange thing is that the robot's nevers are fragile. Other than that he's really really sick at most sc2 stuff, even decision making usually.

Noone is saying he is not great, I am saying he is more timing attack guy than macro. I watched all his later games vs T and Z he usually goes 2-3 base timing all ins, rather than games like dream did yesterday.

It is not possible to evaluate correctly all the time. i think he also thought that Life would be more greedy after the way the game unfolded, Life won that mindgame.

You know, if we were just judging Life on his decision making last night, he would look like a pretty garbage player, too.
Thankfully most people were able to keep level heads and understand that one series does not a player make.

Can he really think that without a 3rd CC though? (I'm really asking)

Too bad for Inno then. If you want to be the best player in the world, thats what you need.

If he took third and upgrades he would ve won that easily. That's exactly the mistake Life made on that map yesterday.

Congratulations to Life! innovation is a great mechanical player but life wasn't wrong in saying he needed to work on his mechanics. not the splits we usually see from Inno. It wasn't even the splits that were the main issue...it was the all-around abysmal micro.
He didn't micro his widow mines at all (or if he did, microed them the worst I've seen, probably hit his own army half of the time, and hit banelings 5-10% of the time), didn't split marines well, and didn't do any of the thor-medivac drop micro we've seen from Dream to kill off mutalisks (except at the very end of game 3, he did it in the final seconds when it was already decided).
And what's most confusing about that is that Innovation got to watch Life play 7 games against Dream, his teammate, yesterday. You would think that would definitely help Inno. Would his play have been even worse had he not been able to watch that entire bo7 between Life and Dream yesterday?
Anyway, this is what turned me off about Innovation, and why I'm not a huge fan; he's just far too rigid and stubborn in his play. Maru/Dream just so much more enjoyable to watch.

was the rogue hype really that much last year? i feel like he's wayyy more hyped up nowadays

If you said that about his TvP (back in the day), you might have been right. He was known for SCV all inning basically every game. Not even a little bit true about his TvZ though, he has always been the macro TvZ player.
