Sick game really enjoyed it as a spectacle, but also illustrated what you said, at least for me.
herO split his army almost as effectively as I've seen any Protoss player through the midgame but it still wasn't enough. Maru played phenomenally and pretty much did everything perfectly towards the end. I don't believe he even thought he could actually win and was looking the draw but took the opportunity when it presented itself.
Frankly PvT is in a bit of a state at the minute IMO. Outside of wonky all-ins Protoss are seemingly forced to open Blink Stalkers into Collosus with one or two forges every time they wish to pursue a macro game. Terrans can pretty much blind counter this and reactive double starport with the option of pulling the boys, in addition to powering hardcore when Protoss are having to turtle.
Not a whine, I think the matchup is pretty balanced but a lack of variety is really killing it for me, and PvT was probably my favourite matchup to watch at S class towards the end of Wings

also, PvT isn't imbalanced, just boring as fuck from the Protoss PoV. It's MGR that is a horrible map, especially in those spawns. I wish they'd nerf mines to the point where templar builds are viable again
