He did block his own nexus with a pylon though. That takes some serious skill, even a Prime player wouldn't have done that.

People do make connections of convenience, such as Axiom's former practice arrangement with the Woongjin Stars and their current one with Dead Pixels. Who knows who might be working with the residents of the Biscuit Base or any number of people we had assumed were long retired?

I'm interested to see what happens if Dear uses an oracle into fast third. It worked well for herO against Life, even though Life knew what he was up against. I wonder if he'll have a different response to it now or if he'll just resort to trying to win before it happens like he did vs herO.

And apparently yesterday Life had a small hangnail on his left hand pinky finger that affected his ability to make control groups.

I don't play the style Dear did in game 2, but I fail to see how it isn't a build order disadvantage given how good hydras and vipers are vs stargate units. What should Dear have done in your opinion?

Not cut the first round of 3 void rays for a twilight council of all things, not take the gasses at the third or teched to templar, go 6gate sentry/zealot/void ray until the zerg transitions, make 2 extra cannons at his third, fully wall it off, keep msc+voids there and buy time with nexus cannon instead of engaging in the middle of a wide open area with 6 zealots before charge finished and 3 sentries that didnt forcefield for shit.

It doesn't make any sense on stalkers. This makes sense on units like Colossus, where you have absurd range(or Tempest), not on Stalkers, where you have 6 range. It's just wrong.
Though if they change the map pool to be less drop friendly this change can be forgotten. But on maps like Catallena, KSS or Nimbus every bit of help helps ,)

I just don't think it's good game design. Having units not doing what you're telling them to isn't rewarding good play imo.
What if, instead of a unit just not firing, we had units exploding randomly when a-moving? It would still reward good play, but terrible design right?

It's not really a stretch at all. He's easily the best Zerg right now, and in the end putting him above Maru and Inno isn't unreasonable even if you could easily see it the other way around.

If I remember right people used to compare Life Maru and Creator to gen 1 pokemon starters back in like 2012. I guess Life and Maru are now a Charizard and Blastoise while Bulbasaur/Venusaur has fallen off after a quick start

you know what? I think the Maru vs. Life rivalry works for the new Flash vs. jaedong, we have a kt player, while Jin Air sponsors what used to be team 8, which formed out of the ashes of Oz(among other teams).

Those are Zergs. Dream is a monster when it comes to PvT, probably better than Polt, Mvp, Maru, MarineKing and Taeja at their primes in terms of PvT. This guy is a PvT monster that can't be stopped. Dream would win GSL if he played PvT and TvT only. He needs to work on his TvZ, but it's kind of hard since he does not have any in form zergs to practice with right now. Soulkey got kicked out of SKT and soO is somewhat irrelevant these days.

To be honest, SKT is the only PL-team to have at least two very capable Zergs in Dark & soO right now. Dark has decent ZvT, and just because soO doesn't play many games right now, doesn't mean he suddenly turned completely incapable. Dream has always been an extremely capable TvP player, famously knocking Rain out of Code A after Rain made the Ro4 in GSL, but his other matchups have never been that good. The fact he's now also a very capable TvT and TvZ player might just be due to having Innovation/Dark/soO as teammates, but you can't expect them to turn a below-average TvZ'er (for Korean standards) to one who handily beats Zergs at any level in just a few months.
