That was nice play by Rogue. That is how you play with swarm hosts. It's very boring that zerg needs to play with 100 spines in every game vs protoss to win but since protoss is so strong it's needed. I hope they fix that till LOTV.

Rain is still a monster, he pretty much qualifies through every other stack Kr qualifier and he didn't look bad in these games.
Rogue game 3, wow that was impressive. Rain-esque defense there. His spine positioning was rock solid, he had hydras pre-emptively placed and sniped warp prisms twice, indeed it was as if he sensed the first one coming

I don't think he could have killed him, but if he pushed right at max, he could definitely have shut down the 4th base and forced some heavy trades, then Solar wouldn't have been able to afford Hive tech units.

Seriously, that Nydus went completely unscouted which was just a big sloppy mistake. Broodlords weren't unsurprising at all given Solar's composition yet it caught Dream completely off guard.

Lot of preparation goes into just one game in SPL. The format is different, it's a very different environment. You can't afford to be that naive.

yeah i have been thinking about this and think i got it now. they are two separate skill sets. some players excel when they can plan for a specific opponent and map, others (like solar) are geared more towards improvising and just jumping in and playing the game (see his success in multiple online cups). so planning and preparation are not solar's strong points and he is often outplayed in that regard, but throw him into a gsl type situation where preparation is not the be all and end all and he's a beast.

Dude pls..there are three protoss out of five in one group! Out of the two remaining Terminator got rekt by INno twice(surprisingly) and eliminated Dark with Carriers (!!!) which is pretty amazing. Rain simply played like sh*t today. Those are the reasons for your whining. And stop complaining about terrans when u have 3Z/3T in Ro8 and two best PvTers playing on friday.
