The Dark hype train continues to derail.
Sick ro8. Looks like a Life vs Maru finals again. Hoping Leenock makes it somehow to give us ZvZ troll finals xD

Rogue (11-6), Life (12-4), Maru (12-6), and Dream (11-7). Numbers are wins and losses thus far. So, those are the only 4 possible players of winning both, as unlikely as it may be. Funny to see both Dream and Rogue do so well, when they were essentially no-names 6 months ago. After seeing their earliest NSSL and GSL games, I was pretty certain they were going to make it far. It's such a shame we don't see Dream out more often in PL, because I think he's the 3rd best player on the team. Maybe even 2nd. OR EVEN FIRST...? No, Innovation is still 1st. @Frosted Dark had a group with Maru, Dream, and TY. Both Maru and Dream are like, TvZ gurus right now. I think it's a bit unfair to discredit Dark. Note, those are two of the four players to have reached both the Ro16 GSL and Ro8 NSSL.

I am sorry sir, is there another curse I should be aware of ?

I only watched the Maru vs Dream one and it was pretty dreadful imo from both players IIRC (and don't confuse it with the other game), pretty onesided. Some strange decisions by TY, getting caught with the pants down on overgrowth really hard (or it was planned by Maru, then it was a genius move), game 2 the same. I think both ended very "anticlimatic"

Can't wait to see what he can do in Proleague. But at least Maru made it out. Now we can see some exciting game. Hoping for a Maru vs Life finals with Life winning again. I woulsnt call dream beating dark an upset, in fact im dissapointed the series wasnt better i have been waiting for a dream dark series

I am sorry sir, is there another curse I should be aware of ? soO was destined to be the true Zerg Bonjwa. soO was destined to win 4 GSLs in a row, making him the greatest player to ever play the game. All Zergs looked up to him in times of hardships, searching the truth in his play, seeking the light in his games. He was the best Zerg by far in Korea. He was a master of every matchup. But every single time he met a grand finals, he lost all his skill and lost the finals. He lost against STXSoul "One-month bonjwa" Dear. He lost against KT "You're on SKT, I can't loose" Zest. He lost against SKT "You'll never see my chin coming" Classic. He lost against SKT "Lol, you didn't really think you would win, did you?" INnoVation. Additionally he also lost a foreign tournament to Samsung "Sorry bud, but you're the icon of second place" Solar. He should have won against all of them. All of them. Yet he lost. In disappointing manner. While in every game that was not part of a grand finals, he looked godlike. Why? This is the effect of the dreaded SKT Zergs Curse. SKT Zergs are bound to attract hype, and then to disappoint. If you look at soO's interview before his first Code S finals against Dear, he is saying it : I will break the curse, I will win. SKT Zergs have been badly considered by fans and players in the past, but not anymore. I will win. How foolish was he. SKT Zergs are bound to break the hearts of their fans and to break their own heart, soul and mind ("Failure is better than second" - SKT_soO 2014). The curse even affects non-traditional SKT Zergs, as evidenced by Soulkey. The curse was broken once, by soO in the first SC2 tournament involving KeSPA players ; I fear that in response to this violation of eternal rules, the StarCraft gods made the curse even stronger, making SKT Zergs come even closer to championship, in order to break their mind even harder. This is why Dark will never, ever win a tournament as long as he stays on SKT and plays Zerg for them.
