I like that you gain a very VERY slightly better position with every trade as terran, so every small win sums up. However on the other side I don't like that it takes soooo long to kill a Zerg even in a superior position, and that if you make one big mistake the game can totally turn around. Unfortunately I don't have Marus skills so this happens to me way too often (as Terran, playing random btw). But well this is what we get: a game balanced around the very highest skill level. The only thing I don't like in TvZ is the lack of different unit compositions from Zerg's side. Terran can open with a lot of different things, depending on the game is going for Hellions, Banshees, Marines, then Hellbat pushes, Widow Mines, Thors, sometimes few Tanks, drops etc. Zerg is going for Ling, Muta, Banelings every single game, occasionally adding Roaches. Even though it is very action packed and probably the most interesting match up, it is still monotone from the Zerg's perspective. I liked ZvP before because Zerg had a ton of choices, and a lot of Zergs were playing this differently, but nowadays everybody just go straight for Swarm Hosts as they realized that they are the most efficient way of dealing with Protoss.

Dear has been relevant only recently and still isn't even close to his old self, on the other hand Life is destroying everybody left and right(outside of proleague) and has multiple tournament wins. You shouldn't be judging something based on proleague, Life plays really bad in proleague and is losing to people he shouldn't be losing to. When you compare Life from proleague and Life from other tournaments, you see two completely different persons, lol.

The other way around ending a game with an advantage isn't that much easier. See g2 of Dark vs Dream when it took Dark 10mins to force the gg out of Dream after he basically won with the roach bust and the game could have been quickly turned around or even out if that 3widow mine drop had really hit home. That's how matchups with good defenders advantage should look like. It should be a constant struggle, not just 1big army battle or one big gamble and insta-gg. It's strong enough to have these roach busts or hellbat pushes giving you already near unloseable advantages, no need to have secure game winning strategies.

Didn't see the games yet, had classes T__T But he owned TY and Dark so it's fine ![]() And I'm sure Maru likes Dream (I do, so Maru automatically does so too, we're so close) so he gave him the walkover.

I think Dear can take Life, even if I do concede that he is the underdog by far.

Too bad Dark couldn't make it happen in NSSL. He still has GSL though, but it's a tough group and he might want to up those ZvT skills a bit before going against MMA again and certainly INnoVation.

Against Innovation yes, and I think that even with practice he can't beat Innovation, but he has managed to destroy MMA multiple times. I don't think that MMA can beat Dark at all.
