In my opinion, Maru is the only real threat to Inno, his TvT is his weakest mu and in the past Maru has bopped Inno before (OSL). Looking at recent results PartinG is pretty solid versus Maru and is so a good pick to eliminate him.
and it helps Dream, was just the perfect move from robogus. the software definitely includes group selection now

i'm sure i missed a funny group selection once again

was this worth watching? I might watch the VOD

Damn it Bogus. Way to give us a 3-toss group.
Oh well, at least MC's chances are better now with PvP. Also gives us the potential for a classic MC vs PartinG showdown ^^.
All in all, this was a very straightforward group selection.

Maru is gonna wreck this shit so hard it isn't even funny.

Maru also had a worse record vs Soulkey than he did vs Parting going into their match at IEM
Life was 2-10 vs San going into Blizzcon

I don't think it was good enough to spend 90 hours minutes watching the VODs when you know the results, but I usually feel that way about group selections

90 minutes T_T, I was originally going to say 2 hours

Am I the only one who thinks Inno didn't put a lot of thought into his decision to switch Solar and PartinG? It seemed like he had no clue what to do with his switch and just did the one thing people (Solar and PartinG both) seemed to want.
It certainly helps him that he will either get rid of some Protoss with excellent PvT, or an aggressive TvTer, and is helping a weak TvTer get through on the other side of the bracket... but I'm leaning towards this all being a lucky byproduct.

Wasn't PartinG trying to get him to do exactly that? Maybe he thought it was a mind game

You mean PartinG literally said these things ("you'll get rid of strong PvTers or an aggressive Terran") while pitching the plan? If so, I must have missed it. I don't think I heard a single translation of why he wanted to switch, other than to put MC in his place.

I don't think Innovation cared that much for the switch. He probably was just feeling sympathetic for Dream, so tossed him the easiest Zerg instead of Parting. I definitely think SKT has a very solid chance for Ro8 -> Finals.
