Difficult group. I think it all depends on how Solar plays, if he plays in his PL form or not. I am going with Heart and Innovation but i could see Super going through aswell.
Also, I really hope INno doesn't just 2-base SCV-pull every game against toss like he did against Stats in NSSL, those games got really stale to watch. Hope he changes up his style a bit. Depends on the maps, of course.

Heart might be dealing with wrist issues. His splitting is nothing like what we've seen from him before in offline settings, and the one game he won was with the composition that's less of an APM sink.

well, innovation sacrificed midgame timings and upgrades for that with the fast third CC. Super easily got a third base up. I think had he just kept on chronoing upgrades and went into templar or archons after 3colossi or kept producing colossi, he might have even gotten a timing with 3-3 against 1-1 or something similar.

I agree, on this level of play you need to have some different pylon nearby(or prism) so you can reinforce, otherwise you are demoted to Terran with weaker units walking across the map ,-) Or you have MSC with you and recall if FUBAR

Once you start to lose units and probes stuff snowballs fast. It's usually not the first drop that gets you but the second or third time the medivac runs in and throws down mines.
this is the problem with mines right now, look at game 1, perfect defense, lose anyway and terran could even take a relitevely fast third, second game just wins.
They are too efficient, if they work terran wins if they don't work whatever.

Not "outplayed" at all. The reality is : Protoss lost 7probes + mining time + make some photons + forced more obs + used MSC energy while terran... got a 8 min third CC. So the principle of this build is to confine the protosos at home while you take a relatively fast third. You don't need to be totaly cost efficient with the first few drops, nor you need to kill lots of probes.
If you know 100 per cent the protoss is camping (no oracle, blink or phoenix around), like Super do with his robo 2forge build, you will get ahead nearly every-time with this build (at least in eco -- your upgrades are delayed). Never stop the all-in Solar. Just keep all-inning even when you have a 15 worker lead and 3 bases. Innovation might have been able to do some drop play after he recovered a bit, but attacking again was a silly move imo.
how did innovation make 3 mines with units in range not fire for a solid 10 seconds? dont you have to retarget each of them individually every couple seconds?

Solar really did not play that well. Didn't mine any gas at that middle base, wtf? And should have mixed a few corruptors into his style like Dark does to combat those medivacs. Or just split better and don't waste all your banelings on marauders...
Action packed games like that make me not want Blizzard to change the amount of minerals per base in LOTV. Or if they do, make 4 have 750 mins and 4 have 2000+ so it's the same amount of minerals, but fewer workers needed per base (after a few minutes).

He played some instances very well, yes; others very poorly. I recall multiple engagements where he used his banelings poorly, one instance where he misrallied a bunch of banelings by an army of bio and gifted a bunch of them away, also didn't mine any gas from the middle base, also didn't play well with his mutas; never targeted medivacs.

Yeah, I'm sure it's probably heart-pumping trying to play against INno in that kind of match. He did pull off a few pretty good moves; just think that he made a lot of mistakes. But no doubt those mistakes are nearly impossible to not make when playing someone of INno's caliber.
So for anyone who was going to sub to GSL and cancel right away so the payment doesn't recur, don't do it. I now only have access to LQ again T_T. I've contacted twitch support, awaiting reply.

You can watch a looped youtube video of a Marauder firing at a Zealot if you want. It is seeing the outcome of the battle that creates the excitement, it is much easier to follow with healthbars. And no bio does not disappear that fast against a Gateway army. We have these misleading fights all the time where people overstimate the strength of bio that is stimmed half to death.

There's a difference between watching one unit vs. one unit and 50 units vs. 50 units when talking about the amount of clutter that health bars would create. Not to mention that visually, you don't even have time to process a hundred health bars simultaneously changing. Yes we have misleading fights and wrong calls, but it's not mainly because we mistook a zealot or marine for full health instead of half health; it's usually because of overcommitments or hitting/ missing spells. Obviously, we'll want to see the health bars on the particularly important units (e.g., colossi, mothership cores) or if there is a particularly micro-intensive engagement (e.g., blink stalker battles), but I find that always keeping on health bars for all units in the big fights ends up being less aesthetically pleasing and more confusing to follow.
I am way too tired to deal with a story that's either a drama-baiting red herring or a threat to the foundation of the whole industry. Seriously, I have a class in three hours, what the hell was I thinking?

Leenock has had some games where it definitely mattered. I remember one vs Squirtle (iirc) on Ohana where he out-multitasked him like crazy. Without regeneration it def. would've been easier for protoss to defend.

Definitely not a throw. The advantage of fast roach rushes with burrow movement is that you can get in the face of the Protoss even faster by moving under the forcefields. The disadvantage is that you tend to get stuck on roach tech, so if you can't eventually overpower the Protoss army with your roaches over and over again, you end up being all-in and eventually need to gg (once enough colossi come out). It's a calculated risk and a race against time.

Just before the game ended you was acting like it was imba and the protoss was barely alive. funny guy. Roach burrow movement can be strong, but if the opponent just defends well against it, it won't be very effective
