I'm sure a PF with a turret or two solves that problem, and no he doesn't ahve enough minerals as you can see right now.

I only follow the LR so I might be wrong, but didn't Terminator have the upgrade advantage for a while at least ? We're used to say bio > gateway armies, but on equal or better upgrades, chargelots actually trade pretty well vs bio ! And zealots only cost minerals
why does this tournament have such bad sound for the game sounds? especially the stalker and phoenix shots, sounds like a phasing issue maybe idk, I feel like they've had it for every day so far

Protoss having the upgrade advantage when going a standard dual forge timing is a given, yes; even if Terran equalizes for a while at 1/1 and 2/2, before Protoss completes 2-2 and 3-3. Gate units with superior upgrades actually stomp bio, that's why dual forge 4 gas with a (very) delayed Storm transition is one of the standards

Yeah I've been doing that too. Safe vs SCV pulls and has really strong, really simple to hit timings at 2/2 and 3/3

Fantasy needed to either have a second bunker (blind) or have jsut a tiny bit more vision out the front of his base. If he has even onre more second advance warning his scvs get on top of the bunker and he holds and (most probably) wins.
It's just that after seeing an oracle though you're really not expecting that 3 gate followup because it's so rare so it's not on your mind. And that's enough for Protoss to kill you sometimes.

scout is not easy with the stalkers. The big point would have been to scout if gaz 3 and 4 were taken but on this map a mere stalker denies any scout... Maybe he should have burn a scan on the natural, like in did on game 2...
You either learn to scout and defend all-ins, or you lose and that's a good thing. I really don't see how people can be "mad at Protoss", this is what keeps players honest and Fantasy screwed multiple things in the game, so the loss was fully deserved.

It's worth pointing out that you can get a reaper to attempt to scout their main when going cc first but the loss of 2 marines production can make handling a fast oracle a bit tricky, you can easily not have 6 marines in each mineral line when it shows up and that's a problem.
like I said thuogh, it's really as simple as just having a bit more vision out the front of the base which Fantasy could have done if he tried. He just didn't because once you see an Oracle the mind tends not to expect stalker follow ups.

Good macro to maximise the amount of units you have. Lining it up with upgrades or unit timings. Correctly deciding what flavour of SCV pull to use (with/without ghosts, 2 starport viking), how much medivac play to perform before pulling, howmany scvs to put at the third before pulling and microing the push itself all takes a certain degree of skill. I'm sure if you put me and Bomber vs the same Protoss and we both did roughly the same SCV pull there'd be a marked difference between us.

The early defense was crap too. Lost way too much for not killing anything. Then that time he went out before roach speed and lost all his roaches and speedlings. The huge swarm host blunder. Personally I'd also add the choice to go swarm host here.
He lost 1 queen and a few lings in the early defense what are you on about.
Yes he lost rocahes midgame but Super also fucked up and had to turn around to defend. Not like Super played flawless.
And swarm hosts was a good plan to use for baseracing with mutas. He would have delayed the race for protoss for so long with hosts and 1(?) colossus. He could have won that game if he didnt fuck up his hosts

Aligulac has like 1600+ games. Did you see 1600 games played by pros in december? Me neither.
When will people finally understand that aligulac is a really really bad source for statistics because it includes diamond players?! Hell, I played in WCS qualifier #5, and I bet I would find my game in the stats for january's TvZ stats (which honestly is a joke).
The real TvP winrate is at 57% in PRO games in TOURNAMENTS since august, which is as broken as TvZ in HotS initially.
Things are evening out right now, which doesn't change that the matchup is horrible to watch because it's collossus first vs. SCV pull half the time, and some Protoss cheese the other half. The proposed widow mine change will do TvP soooooo good.

yeah, but do they ever achieve that or work at all? Like this game, Leenock was at 60drones. Scouted late, caught with his pants down, panik spines and still got out ahead.

so you think i should trust your 57%(where did you take that from) more than a database that has every single game? why should lower ranked players not matter for that statistic?

I think if you execute them correctly, the new versions are superior because you control the zerg and force them to react to you instead of just letting them drone and set up for it until it hits. There's way more room for them to mess up and more room for you to gain advantages. Also easiert to transition out if your pressure already does well.

that is also not a terrible idea, altho realistically they woulda been dead weight with good control from leenock
If you are lucky you can catch vipers out of position during the moveout, but in engagements phoenixes instantly die by hydras. Plus vipers are not light so they are quite tanky against phoenix shots.

HTs do the job instantly.
The vipers outrange the Phoenixes, Phoenixes have 5 range, 7 with the pulse crystals. A vipers yoink has 9 range, so it won't do.
Vipers are usually behind the army "eating" a building and that is the time when you can kill it with phoenixes. In the case you have phoenixes from earlier(opening with them). Otherwise yeah, templars baby.

Vipers are kinda just good. A lot of the time they can get their spells off even if you feedback them. If you can afford it, always get storm to have guaranteed AoE that can't be negated by them. That's often better than feedbacking

Also storm is a good splash damage that doesn't have to fear vipers or corruptors. And corruptors tend to clump. Storm, baby! And after the storm we have archon. Wonderful. Templar!! :>

I really dislike this being called NSSL tbh. What happens if Naver doesn't sponsor the league in a few seasons? You have to be consistent with the name, changing it all the time won't help the viewer numbers either tbh

Yeah i guess doesn't look like it will happen this time but maybe depending on the later rounds of GSL. For example Maru plays GSL group on 21st January and his SSL group on 5th February. Could find himself on wednesday in knock out stages maybe around the february time?

I like that the Protoss players aren't just taking chances to catch a CC first. You can end up very behind if you run into reaper or factory opening. While there is hardly any drawback to macroing against a CC first if you just identify it.
