Pretty much, soO is the only really big name eliminated so far. A few mid-tier players like Trap, Losira, and Stats are out though.

Stats is a big name.

Only to people who watched WECG or whatever it was called, I don't think he's made any deep runs besides that.

top 8 S3 and got to Hot6ix without having to be voted in. He is a top 5 Toss. Just cause no one knew soO after his first runner-up doesn't make him not a big name.

Lol, Stats isn't top 5 toss.

Zest, Rain, Parting, her0, sOs, Classic, Dear, possibly current Yongwha, possibly Trap, possibly Hero, before Stats.

Zest, herO, sOs, Stats, Parting, Rain.

*Stats, Stats, Stats, Stats, Stats, is what you meant I'm sure.

Kespa got the shit kicked out of them

you should look at the brackets, they mostly beat other non-kespas.

stats and soo got wrecked though.

Trust, Hush, Armani, Stork, Pigbaby, Bravo, Trap, KT.Believe, Myungsik, Sora, Paralyze, SkyHigh, Guilty, Action, CJ.Bunny.

you're proving my point? most of the top kespa players either qualified or haven't played yet.

Well, you actually said "non-kespas", not "kespa players that aren't good". And besides, isn't that list the exact list of players some people say beats the crap out of weak "runners" that couldn't even win in EU like First, MMA and Yods?

MMA did win in EU but had a lucky Blizzcon bracket.

Also WCS EU is doing better than WCS NA but that's partly due to no Polt or Jaedong.

So lucky, "only" facing a WCS EU champion that was one pathing fail away from knocking Flash out of Kespa Cup during that week where he was good, the WCS AM champion who had just crushed a GSL semifinalist under his heel at Red Bull DC, and a GSL champion who had shown balls of steel and a willingness to try crazy strategies throughout the tournament and, really, the year, before eventually reaching Life in the finals.

and then there was the bottom half of the bracket that made all of that look like a joke

So who'll be the first player to qualify from the Afternoon bracket and bump into HerO in the middle of his set?

And everyone said the bottom half was stacked because of soO, Zest, Innovation but it was Life who came out of it. Sometimes it's not the favorites that are gonna play the best that weekend. MMA had a pretty sick run. I hate to admit it as a Bomber fan but he deserved to make it as far as he did
